  1. To tell the truth I have a hard time thinking a putter shaft would improve my putting. For the record I am not a great putter, but I do not think that it has anything to do with the putter or shaft. I have the theory that any putter or shaft will work, you just have to believe it will work. Practice, practice, practice, is the key to consistent putting. I actually took a putting lesson this past winter (shoutout to Dillon Parisi at Ironworks golf lab, Beloit, WI) and have seen a great improvement so far this spring. I have not changed my putter or shaft, just my stroke. Maybe someday I will be good enough that the last piece I need is a different shaft. Just my two cents.
  2. I was wearing a high end pair if spiked golf shoes and was experiencing ankle and achilles tendinitis. I was really worried about something terrible happening. I switched to Puma spikeless golf shoes. The tendinitis has went away and my ankles feel great. I have since purchased several more pairs (different colors) and I love them. I can put on my shoes before I leave the house (because they are spikeless) and wear them all day through post round dinner. I swing pretty hard and have not had any grip issues. I will never switch back to spiked shoes or for that matter wear anything other than Puma's. When I find something that works I stick with it. Good work Puma!
  3. Well I do and don't do somethings. First I hit a Titleist Pro Soft ball. I really like the ball for my swing speed and game, luckily nobody else seems to hit that style of ball so the gives me pretty good isolation. Secondly, I do not place any marks on my ball because everyone else does. Thirdly, I am left handed so usually my ball is on the other side of the fairway from everyone else.
  4. Great question. Until a couple years ago I had my clubs all willie nillie in my bag. As the years go by, my eyes worsened, so I had to better organize my bag. Since the organization I have stopped grabbing my 6 instead of my 9. I also have stopped grabbing my 50 degree instead of my 56. I have a 14 slot Ping bag which I organize tall to short and right to left since I am a lefty.
  5. Do you see value in the multi material design? I love the look of this putter. I think the multiple metals give it a nice look. Do you like the simplistic design? I think it is simple, but well thought out. I prefer a non-shiny putter so this would appeal to me. What is your favorite and least favorite part? My favorite part is the copper alignment dot. Very appealing to the eye. Would you be excited to use this? I would love to give this putter a roll. Would you consider purchasing this putter if there was a limited release? Yes I would.
  6. Interesting topic. I have never considered a 7 wood, but I have not been hitting my 5 or 6 iron overly well. I seem to be more accurate with my 7 iron and hit it just as far as my 5 iron. May a 7 wood is something I should consider?
  7. I have been reluctant to replace my old Ping G driver. It had been very consistent on both distance and accuracy, but in the boredom of winter I went ahead and purchased a new Ping G425 driver. The new Ping looked very similar to my old Ping. I went to the simulator and was hitting my old club (with good success) when I finally decided to take off the plastic and try the new driver. From the first swig forward I picked up 10 yards distance and narrowed my left to right dispersion by 5 yards. Upon dropping the loft from a 9 degrees to 8 degrees I lowered by back spin enough to gain another 5 yards. Now if the snow would just melt so I can get out on a real course.
