  1. Definitely approve of that decorating advice!
  2. This. Can't tell you how many seasons I have started with the resolution to do this and don't follow through for more than a couple rounds.
  3. The only thing that can derail Scottie is an injury. Rory seems the logical king slayer based on experience but can't find consistency. The other guys chasing him need to make sure he's not living in their head rent free like tiger used to do.
  4. I cheaped out and just drew up hole diagrams using the measure distance feature on google maps. Not super accurate but then neither is my game.
  5. Gonna have to try this. Good thing I don't have a double bend putter
  6. Have found that sunglasses mess with my closeup depth perception making me mishit shots. Could be the lenses I was using. Definitely going to check into the perscription Trivex. Thanks for posting that
  7. Just got a set of mizuno jpx 923 irons. Was fitted for mavriks several years ago but just couldn't make them work
  8. It would be cool if someone had a shrinkable vinyl wrap for golf shafts
  9. I'm 64 with driver swing speed of 80. Found the Taylormade Tour Response to be the best for me. Was using Callaway Supersoft for several years but the Taylormade gives me more yardage. And have to use the yellow to see it in flight.
  10. Just swapped out a 6 iron for 6 hybrid. Getting older sucks but I hit the hybrid pretty well so none of my buddies have given me crap about it.
  11. Was a Callaway fanboy for the longest time but finally admitted to myself what all of my playing partners already knew - I can't hit their wedges for crap. Cleveland wedges were a revelation and transformed my short game ( ymmv ).
  12. Always walk until the days start getting to 90+ degrees. Too many times I would walk it in the heat and start to drag about 14/15th hole. Play golf for fun and it just wasn't.
  13. Tried using an alignment mark but found myself spending way too much time making sure it was lined up exactly at my target. Easier to orient the line on my putter to square it to the target. Also found it distracting in the fairway when the line was off to one side or across the top of the ball.
  14. Take Tiger's putter hands down. All that engraving on the gold ones would make it impossible to hit any putt straight:)
  15. Used Callaway supersoft for many years and then someone gave me a sleeve of tour response. Birdied the first two holes that day and have never used anything else. Much better stopping power on the green - for me ( ymmv ).
