  1. I had been a life-long blade putter until I tried the Taylormade Spider X last fall. My putting game has never been the type to set off bells, whistles and raucous cheers, but it was always consistent and reliable to keep me from a lot of three putts. The mallet style took a few months to adjust and ingrain, but I am beginning to putt in better form than before. I was a 6.4 hcp last year. Ballooned to 10 after the Spider and Sim2 purchases.
