  1. This is a pretty cool way to get people to try other brands. It may be a good idea to start with the best sellers so people sign up, then once there is a proven interest start implementing lesser known brands. Maybe introduce some JDM or Direct brands so people will switch like with a Snell and Vice.
  2. Ball dispersion, distance, and spin numbers through various price levels. Longest overall ball for scramble drives.
  3. Snell MTB-X is the ball for me until proven different. I have been trying to get away from Snell over the last 2 years since the big ball test. I liked them at first but blamed them for swing flaws. I tried to mentally determine that are inferior quality from being from a smaller, unknown manufacturer. I was searching for a long ball of the tee and playable around the greens. The left dash and TP5x are decent with the driver but generally not playable for my game around the greens. I wanted to try more spin balls but was losing distance with the driver. After awhile my search brought me right back to the Snell. I used them mostly as practice balls for their price but have committed to them full time. No loss in distance, stick them well on greens, and the line works for me in putting. Couple that with "cheaper" pricing and supporting a smaller business and I'm sold. I'll try stuff after the next ball test comes out, but for now they have to stay. I've shot the best three scores in my league this year so far (35,36,37) using the Snell. First few weeks were in the low 40s with TP5x, Wilson Staff Model and Prov1. Try them.
  4. My brother recently picked up the Supernova. I got to putt a little with it and it is solid. I believe his was sitting at 34*. It felt like the head was heavy (which I like) but not too heavy like it was a pendulum. I felt like it stayed on line with a good stroke. Like it was on tracks almost. The Sik face seemed to work well and the putter was well liked from our group. I made an 8 foot birdie with it. Not going to replace my Wilson, but a good/interesting putter.
  5. This is close between my M6 driver and 58* Vokey with 4* of bounce. I'm so dialed in with my driver that giving me a club off the shelf would be a disaster off the tee. As for the 58*, I'm just money with it. I can hit any shot needed under 75 yards and really do well. I rarely blade it and it is my go to club unless I really need something esle (62* flop or 52* punch and run).
  6. I recently got the Wilson Buckingham Infinite putter. It is pretty heavy so I focus on having a smooth, controlled stroke. Been putting the best in my life since I dialed it in. I use a "claw" grip with my right index/middle fingers on top of the flat part with my ring finger down the side. My thumb is on the back side. This gives seems to keep the face square more often. Have shot career rounds this month with it.
  7. Hi all. I'm from NJ. Love to golf, especially scrambles. Hit me up if you need one. How long have you been playing golf? What’s your handicap or normal score? Off and on all my life. In a scramble league for 5 years and now a competitive handicap league for 1 year. What do you love about golf? I love the difficulty and ability to pull off crazy shots. I like that my numbers are getting better. It's fun being outside. What brings you to MyGolfSpy? Do you already know any other Spies? Been lurking since 2018ish. Felt like the community is too good and I'm almost stealing information if I don't get involved. Where are you from? What is your home course? NJ. Jaworski's Running Deer. What are the best and worst things about golf in your region? Best: Can golf most of the year as snow doesn't sit for too long. Worst: There are not a lot of high end courses, especially affordable ones. Other golfers are often slow and inconsiderate of playing through. Often crowded. Greens are mostly not pristine. What do you do for a living? Work for government. How’d you pick your user name? I like to try and hit that ball far and know there is a correlation of distance and score. The further you can drive and use scoring irons, the better you will do. I'm semi-aggressive on the course. I like Bryson's strategy of beating the course.
  8. Nice looking rangefinder. This is my first application for a testing gig. Just made my account after 2+ years lurking. I have a cheaper range finder. My brother just bought the Precision Pro based on the MGS review. I would like to compare my budget and his nicer model to this. Looking forward to getting involved with the community more.
