  1. Actually he does not play smart anymore just a bomber, no longer the Professor, actually he really only won a major other events not much difference, actually worse especially for bad scores whihc he gets a lot now, likely worse as he used to at least contend when he was more agile. He no longer thinks he just grips it and rips it.
  2. You could be right. Louie Oosthuizen definitely (won a major, he has a very long list of runner up for the Majors, fan favourite), Lee Westwood, Richard Bland (underdog favourite), Bryson is he acts like he used to before being bulked up Jock, i.e. the Professor and only hits driver when it is smart to do so, needs to be little wind for him to win), Brooks could do well if his head is in it and he is healthy, Dustin could do well, perhaps Sergio if he can keep his cool and Phil if he is not pestered by the media and fans.

  4. Will a LIV golfer shoot a 54 and get the $54 million bonus as the LIV tour stated? Who might it be, my guess would be Bryson or Brooks.
  5. Have not seen either of them being interviewed on this yet nor are they in the LIV news section and not in the next LIV event.
  6. Ok here we go again, putting it in one place. Who will be the top 3 LIV golfers at The Open and where will they finish? Will Tiger beat Phil? Will Rory and Justin beat Brooks and Bryson? What will Tiger say about LIV and Phil?
  7. LIV only had 48 because they though it would be hard to convince PGAers to come over but now they are finding it is very easy, just write a very big cheque. Yes they will expand to 72 quickly and maybe more.
  8. That is my point lets stop bickering and get back to the battle of the golf legends superstars. LIV is alive and growing almost daily, we can't ignore it or hope it goes away because it will not, not as long as Saudi has a king, has oil and the internal combustion engine is king.
  9. Lets make this negative at least a fun positive as we have lost history and tradition with the split. LIV is here to stay so lets learn to live with LIV.
  10. We wont see the good old battles because LIV players are banned from PGA so lets talk about it at the majors where they at least can still face off agonist each other and lets see who the winners are and who we hope wins for fun.
  11. Please keep me in mind for this. I am sure TA and Ping would really like this as these clubs that were big advancements "Ping Eye 2 TA 845 and all the knock offs" created because of those two iconic brands real advancement, similar to creation of Big Bertha metal woods.
  12. Just imagine how much media attention will be on him at The Open because of his comeback after his crash, because he turned down perhaps a billion dollars to not join LIV, because it is the 150th, because he is Tiger, because he was Phil's biggest rival and now they are on opposite tours.
  13. Actually it may be threesome, Tiger and Rory vs. Phil. British media will have a field day with it at the 150th.
  14. Did Brooks do a quick turnaround to LIV because he did so poorly (very close to last place at the US Open), was he offered huge money (how much), did he lose confidence in himself realizing he will not be a good as he used to be, lots of injures that don't go away, wants to just cash in, play less, play with his brother, still play majors, seems to be only golf he cares about.
  15. What PGAers will you miss the most? Phil for sure, Brooksie was fun watching him when he was great, Rickie he is a true gentlemen, when ever he was in the hunt in 2015 or so he always was the first person to congratulate the winner of an event and it was always televised. He will have to answer some very tough media questions as will Brooks for his quick turnaround.
  16. Thanks for the reply. Just seems to be a good idea to go after regular golfers who shoot 95+ and use older equipment, accessories, clothes, no technology and see if there are really any improvements to be had to 1. make the game more fun 2. lower scores 3. be more consistent on shots (lowest right left dispersion is key, followed by distance consistency) 4. speed up play 5. give real value for money in tough tight economic times 6. be more inclusive and diverse to both hackers and wanna be pros.. Tired of all the BS marketing hype every year we al know average scores are not improving, Heck why not do a real hacker test of old clubs vs new GI pr SGI (eg. Ping G425, G710, TA 845 etc.) vs old clubs and see what the difference is, you need people who regularly play old clubs for this test and use a launch monitor and play on their regular course to report the findings.
  17. Have more testing for people who are just hackers and love the game, people who have clubs from 1980-2000 and give them new game improvement and super game improvement clubs and see what the real world difference is, see how it really improves the game experience. I would be a great candidate for that. Ditto for GPS devices see how better it is vs golfers who just step off the yardages from the red, white and blue stakes or course markers. Same for shoes I used to wear golf shoes (with metal spikes) but now just runners, give a test of new FJ PRO Sl to see how great they are. Bring back the average Joe and Jane golfer who just have fun and how they can improve their game, convince these people that it is to just marketing BS about new clubs. Great that there is golf pools, easy office etc as it is fun to play. With sky high inflation, covid, supply chain issues, world events (war), etc. it would be nice to be more inclusive for hacker golfers who love the game but aren't the people who constantly buy ever new model of clubs, clothes and accessories and just have some fun for regular people.
  18. Use a chipper best club in the bag use from off the green to 100 yards.
  19. The Old Man is good, just watched first two episodes.
  20. Have a vented Top Flite hat, navy blue likley 40 years old now, it is the hat I wear almost always
