$185 is a great price.   I personally don’t take much stock in the “Tour Issue” claim since so many manufacturers have learned that it means sell the same putter for a higher price.   Toulon are nice putters and the garage is nice since it allows you to get the necks, alignment lines, color, etc that you want.   I’ve considered picking up a Vegas, they are just going for more than I want to pay and the older weight plate are almost impossible to find.

Yeah I bought it assuming it was 50/50 being actually a tour issue. Couldn't pass up on that deal either way since I have been wanting one for awhile now. Needed an upgrade badly, also this mallet style was perfect since it's in between a blade and mallet style. Love it regardless though, I appreciate the response!

They don’t hold their value at all.

another option is to search the classified on wrx to see if there is any there

Yeah I know they dont hold like Scotty Cameron's but personally just always liked the Toulon, needed an upgrade over my beat up Nike method matter putter Lol. I will definitely check out the WRX though, thank you!

I don't know anything about it, therefore just question, the top line or groove shouldn't that be flush with the centre where the drawing is on the back, in the picture the line and drawing are not nicely underneath each other, right? don't both indicate that that is the centre of the putter? I suppose so. I find it confusing, it can be deceiving in the photo.

Yeah the angle is kinda weird but it's absolutely lined up in the middle. It's always good to be skeptical though lol

It probably isn't a tour;  my understanding is that the serial number should start with TC for tour models.  What you have is a garage putter (see the photo of the bottom) which is their custom configuration program where you can specify what alignment lines you want.   Probably worth $400-$600ish but you'd have to check recent sales to get a better valuation.

Ahhh Okay, you could be absolutely right. I did read somewhere about it starting with TC. I wasn't sure how solid that was but it makes sense. I purchased this for only 185$ so even if it isn't a Tour issued, it's definitely a steal from their garage custom series then! Thanks a ton for the reply, I wish there was more things I could go off of like other markings and what not but not a lot of information on these. I just love the Toulon putters for some reason lol

Probably not much compared to a scotty tour only putter.

Check eBay to see if there are any there. eBay is usually a good representative of the secondary market.

    Guessing $800 or less

Yeah I always check EBay but like you said it's hard because there isn't much reference of these on recent sales. I appreciate the feed back though! Definitely a steal nonetheless

  5. Bought a Toulon Putter Atlanta Garage Tour issue off of offer up. Wanted to see what it's actually worth and I assumed with the serial number on the shaft it was a legit tour version. Also the top line is only on the first part and not the back of the putter. But I'll post up some pictures and see what you guys have to say! Got a really good deal on it either way so let me know 🤙🏾

I am telling you I am not the best golfer I have a lot of mis hits and they don't seem to show as much with the 425 and it might just be me because I have a lot of confidence with it in my hands but its like butter when I swing it and my ball flight is great I would highly recommend it

Oh absolutely no worries but im definitely trying it out brotha! Say no more haha I always like the G425 so I'm glad to know another that has it is super happy with it. I'm going to try it out soon when I have time, it's been a long over due switch up 👊🏾

Yea I need to do the same. I’m fairly happy where I’m at right now with my off the rack, but I’m also interested to see if I’d put myself in better position if I used a putter tailored specifically to me. If you decide to go have fun!!

Appreciate it! Yeah I'm going to take the advice and get fitted for a putter and find exactly what I need then find it cheaper online or even offer up I use a ton lol. Thanks again!

Had a regular playing partner go down the LIV event in Adelaide, and he said it was just about the best live sporting event he's ever attended.

He's a pretty mad keen golfer, and follows PGA tour events pretty religiously, but being Aussies the political issues with LIV don't really filter down here, and he said it was absolutely great. We both went to the Australia PGA Championship here in Brisbane in Nov last year, and even though that drew decent crowds (almost entirely because of Cam Smith the hometown hero in attendance), he said it was worlds apart in spectator numbers and overall atmosphere.

I think LIV definitely has a niche in being a worldwide tour, especially with the PGAT burning all the feeder tours to try take everyone themselves. There's a lot of places that are starved for top quality golf events, and there's absolutely a younger crowd that clearly will embrace the "Golf, but louder" setting. I think if they mostly played international locations that don't get events normally, and US cities that don't get really PGA events anymore they'd actually start drawing in decent numbers. Playing in Florida that has events constantly and is fiercely loyal to the PGAT doesn't help their cause at all.

The pretty heavy rumour after the last event is that my home state of QLD will get a 2nd Aus event for LIV next year, and I'm absolutely keen for that. I've been watching guys like Phil and Sergio play since I was a kid, to be able to see them in person finally would be awesome, as well as seeing the younger guys striping it around the course.

Honestly that last Liv event definitely gave them a huge step forward in this whole crazy fiasco. It was fun to watch and I could see it actually being entertaining to watch for someone that doesn't watch golf at all. It was way more appealing for and outside golf fan looking in IMO, and it's great for golf. Even for someone like me who practically watches PGA every weekend and weekday leading up to the weekend. PGA can get a little boring sometimes especially if the big names are not playing. But this was a nice breath of fresh air and not to mention all the crazy shots that happened. I like seeing players react as well, and not so much as robots playing all day lol

I use the Ping Anser as my main putter and love it. Feel is a BIG deal with putting. If it feels right it doesn’t matter what the brand is, IMO. Getting fit for a putter would probably be your best option. You don’t have to get fit for the whole bag if you don’t want to, you can just go for a putter and it’s not required to purchase one from them. This way you’ll get to know which, out of the many, putters best complement your game. Then you can pick one up through them or find your best match online. It’s a risk to buy online without knowing what you truly like/ perform best with, but worse comes to worse you can either return it or just keep adding to the collection! Good luck!!

I definitely need to do this, I have always felt like I would need to buy after getting fitted but at this point I just want to know what fits me the best without buying it first. My putting is the worst, need to find something that works for me cause I have zero confidence over the ball on the green lol

  10. Most recent buy was actually A bag change! I've been using a Taylormade bag since I started my golf hobby almost 6-7 years ago. Needed something lighter to take to the range and for smaller courses. Caved in on buying the Sunday Golf bag Loma Light, and I LOVE IT. The weight of the bag literally feels like I'm not even carrying a bag. Super comfortable and it holds more than enough clubs. Looks super clean as well! The people that own it and work there are also amazing and super helpful. I have zero bad things to say about them! I'll leave a picture for some reference 😁

finally made the switch on my 3 wood from a taylor made burner to my new favorite club in my bag the G425 max so forgiving and a beautiful club

Weird I was looking into the same exact club switch cause I also have a Taylormade burner I've been using for a long while but I like the G425 and it looks super clean to me as well. Have yet to go in and try it out though, glad to know it was worth it to switch!!

I kind of what to play it just for the experience of playing one of the worse courses in America.  Are the fairways as bad as they say?

The fairways are pretty bad in the middle with dirt and gofer holes. I will say the greens and tee boxes are actually kept pretty clean. Some Par 3s are actually nice. But the bigger par 4 and 5s there it sucks to hit nicely in the fairway when it's a lot of dirt lol. If you can play there you can play anywhere 😂

I live near this course but have never played.  I've heard plenty about it though haha.  Kudos for staying home and taking care of your daughter.

Appreciate that brotha! Yeah I honestly had no idea that it was famous for being so bad until recently Lol. Never played the course until I did a month ago for just 9 holes for a quick pick me up. It's pretty bad, and they charge way to much for the conditions. You're not missing much I promise 😂

  14. How long have you been playing golf? What’s your handicap or normal score?

Been about 5 years for me on and off but I would definitely say the last 2 years have been more serious! Handie Cap is about a 10-11 as of now😤

What do you love about golf?

The scenery has to be up there and actually how hard it is. It's just that much more satisfying when you finally get it down.🙌🏾

What brings you to MyGolfSpy? Do you already know any other Spies?

I joined actually awhile back, but I was just getting into golf and joining communities. I joined to see all the reviews, wanted to know what the best things to buy were!

Where are you from? What is your home course?

I currently live in Carson California and my home course is actually the infamous "Worst course in America" links at Victoria 😂 I live right down the street from it. Use it mostly for the range and only played there once....No need for details haha

What are the best and worst things about golf in your region?

Best is the weather is always pretty solid except right now of course.

Worst has to be that it's terrible hard to find tee times and really hard to find Grass driving ranges. I'm so tired of mats!!

What do you do for a living?

Currently just watch my daughter and bringing her up. I was laid off right when she was born, she's about 18 months now. Honestly love it but looking to get back into work once she's old enough!

How’d you pick your user name?

I think I need to change it to my instgram handle "ThrifTeeGolf. Love the name cause I thrift for my golf clothes which I like the style of bigger clothing and retro stuff!

Hope that gives a great insight on my game and who I am. Thanks y'all!

  15. Nice! Yeah I've always made accounts of other interest so my personal account never gets jumbled up. But thanks for the advice, I did a lot of research before making one. Like when to post, trending stuff to use, editing and what not. I at first wanted to just get big fast so using trending songs and what not but I realize I didn't want to follow that. Just be me and post what I think I would like. The logo thing is a good idea though! Interacting with everyone too has been awesome though, finding people around my area too.

The biggest thing for me is if I ever would use shot tracers. If that really separates someone from the normal. I'd like to know what you think on that subject! Thanks for the reply, honestly it's a huge help. Appreciate you!

  16. This is by no means any type of promoting of any kind of my stuff, truly wondering if anyone here is making content! I personally started my content creating almost exactly a month ago on both Instgram and Tiktok. More for fun and to see what I can do with it. Made a completely new Instagram just for my golf stuff and so far have 330 followers with 31 post. I never had a Tiktok until this golf content, about 410 followers there. It's a cool little experiment to see how people like my videos especially my swing LOL. Anyone else out there making or posting anything? Maybe some tips and tricks on how to grow?! What do people like watching when it comes to golf content besides the instructional videos? Do you like just the sound of hitting the ball or music in the background? Funny golf stuff? Would love to hear what people gravitate towards! I'll leave one of my videos if possible down here from instgram!
