  1. Outstanding review... This is a picture of my Florida bag and I couldn't be happier. The ZX5's are a solid design with amazing feel, workability, and the distance is outstanding (Getting 180+ carry from a 4I). They can get a little dinged up but not bad considering I play and practice 7 days a week now and walk 90% of the time. Definitely a solid investment imo...
  2. Try my hands at some Senior Tour qualifying events by 55 and maybe a couple try's for the US Open.
  3. I say this about anything in golf when it comes to equipment. Do not invest in "X" Club if you aren't going to A: Invest in "X" amount of time or B: "X" amount in lessons learning how to use it properly. Your equipment should inspire and give you confidence to perform your best when using it. If you bought only for the status you think it provides then you're just fool...
  4. With the introduction of the "Distance Iron" I don't see how it's a thing to have to top load your bag any longer. Also with the ability of (+ or - 2*) adjustments on almost every Driver, Fairway, or Hybrid it seems impossible not to be able to lock in your exact gaps when it comes to that area of the bag imo. I have no more than a 4* gap between Driver (Adjustable from 7.5* to 10.5*), 3W (Adjustable from 13* to 16*), and my 5W (Adjustable from 17* to 20*) and with my 4I at 21*, and 5I at 23* it gives me a lot of versatility at the top of my bag to drop my 4I and add additional wedge or just keep it depending on the playing conditions, weather, etc. I think one of the biggest problems with the average golfer was said by another poster "Kansas King"... Shots over 200 yds can be seen as more difficult without consistency.

  8. Honestly I will pass on Taylormade; even if it's the best driver every made. The price is just too ridiculous and I'm very happy with my controllable drives via the Cobra Radspeed. I believe once we start paying $600+ for a Driver all the prices are going to rocket up and just stay there. Just like Vokey and Taylormade Wedges these days.... I mean almost $200 bucks a wedge?? Seriously guys...
  9. I'm Telling!!! Picked this baby up two days early... GW SM9 50*/08* F Grind
  10. Picked up this pretty young lady today!!! Edel EAS 4.0.
  11. Twenty Years of marketing bullshit is more like it.... I've hit thousands and thousands of shots with my 2017 M1 and the face is pristine. Not a scratch on it... Sell a company for 2 Billion and all of a sudden the "Twenty Years in the Making" club comes out??
  12. I picked up it's little brother FS mevo. To be honest after 10 sessions I enjoy the data points it provides but the app is horrible lacking and in need of improvement imo.
  13. This Club!!! The Ping G410 Crossover 3 Iron 20* with an Alta CB 70 Red (Stiff) Shaft. After reading the Most Wanted review, I saw this club sitting by itself with an unbelievable price tag under $190 and just took a chance and picked it up. What a steal and an absolute beast!!! One of the easiest clubs to hit and to hit far and straight. Getting 195+ yds carry with about 105 to 110 club head speed. So needless to say I'm absolutely a MGS Most Wanted believer!!!
  14. Got fitted for a Edel Putter today and it went very well. I went to the GolfTec in Clearwater, Florida and was fitted by Nick Ramsey. The fitting took about one hour and thirty minutes and it really rips your putter to pieces if you're gaming the wrong stick... The fitting starts off with an interview of your putter tendencies. How do you miss? Are you long or short, pushing right or pulling left. (Me: I was long and to the left) Then you're thrown onto an aim board which will show you how you are aiming at address for about a 1 foot putt. (Me: I had my face open to the right). After the aim board they take a laser and lay it down directly at a ball and then place a mirror on your putter and have you come to address for a 5 foot putt and they remove the ball so you can see where you are actually aiming at address. (Me: I was aiming about 6" right with the face open and about 8" up increasing the lie angle). This was eye opening because at address I thought my putter looked perfect and obviously the further out you go the worse it gets... After that, the fun part begins... Building the correct putter. The fitter walked me through a bunch of options including the head styles, alignment plates, grips, different lie angles, and counter weights in both the head and the shaft of the club. Once the club is built they run you through the aim board and laser test again and again until you feel like you have the perfect club in your hand... For Me the perfect club was Edel EAS 4.0 at 33" with the standard round grip, 68* lie angle, and a 25 gram counter weight in the head. The alignment plate was One on top and two on the bottom... Then it's off to the putting green to put it to work and imo it did. It took me a little bit to get used to but, I definitely saw the improvement almost immediately. Solid strikes rolling end over end with livable misses. At 5 feet and in the putter was deadly and sank almost every putt I hit. At 10 feet the putter felt great and the ones that didn't go in, were tap in's. So even if you don't want to go with an Edel Putter, getting fit definitely shows you what you "need" before you actually buy a putter. For me it was a no brainer and the Edel EAS 4.0 will be going in my bag as soon as it arrives.
  15. I'm getting fitted for an Edel tomorrow afternoon and kind of excited to see what the outcome will be.
  16. Most recent purchases... Mevo [me*vo] noun lol, Mevo Flightscope Fancy "Pumas Ignites" in Stars and Stripes bcuz Merica!!! Cobra Radspeed XB Driver and 3W
  17. Driver & 3W: Cobra Hybrid: Cobra Irons: Srixon Wedges: Cleveland & Titleist Putter: Titleist - Scotty Cameron
  18. Driver: Cobra Radspeed XB 9* set +1.0* 3W: Cobra Radspeed 14.5* Hybrid: Cobra Radspeed 3H 19* --- Was interested in the Callaway Rogue ST and just struck the Cobra way better and way longer.... or (depending on conditions) 3 Iron: Ping G410 Crossover 20* Irons: Srixon ZX5's 4I-PW (4I 22*, 5I 24*, 6I 27*, 7I 31*, 8I 35*, 9I 39*, PW 44*) Wedges: Titleist Vokey SM8 50*/08* F Grind (GW), Titleist Vokey SM8 56*/14* F Grind (SW), Titleist Vokey SM8 60*/08* M Grind (LW) Putter: 33" Edel EAS 4.0 Bag: Srixon Z SRX LTWT Stand Bag in Grey/Blue Ball: Snell MTB Black
  19. Honestly this should be a no brainer, especially these days... (ie... One Length (Cobra) and Increased Club Lofts across all club makers) Sure you may sacrifice some club speed at first but if you're puring every shot and gaining more control and consistency with a shorter fairway wood or hybrid then why not?? Distance is great but accuracy and control is premium imo.
  20. Hey Guys and Gals!!! I'm Richard... Sharing my time between New York and Florida!!! Playing since I'm 13, so almost 40 years now...

  22. Not that this will help too much but I replaced my 2017 Taylormade M1 with the Radspeed XB and it's just a beast imo... The M1 was one of the best drivers I ever hit (was able to hit almost every shot shape I wanted and had reliable distance) and it took a lot to take it out of my bag especially for a Cobra which I thought was more hype around Bryson then actual technology. This club is for real... beautiful at address with the matte crown, dropped my spin down to around 2500-2700 rpms and honesty added 10 yards more carry and up to 20 yards more roll out. I've never hit balls out past 250yds and lately I've been hitting a lot out there. So I would give the Radspeed XB a huge thumbs up... I hope this helps...
  23. Looking forward to this release since I saw Mark Crossfield do a tiny review on the Youtubes... I like where they're going with this design and hope my ZX5's enjoy hitting their new friends. https://youtu.be/PzOg2w0mboU
