Are there extended delivery times for custom Taylormade irons
Mchedwards replied to Mchedwards's topic in General Q&A
Golf Galaxy checked my order and told me. Just curious if there is someone who has ordered recently and could tell me if there is truly a TM production delay. -
I just heard that my expected shipping date for my custom TM Stealth irons is May 24th. Not the 2 to 3 weeks I was told at the time of ordering. I have UCT shafts and Golfpride MCC plus 4 mid grips. Ordered from Golf Galaxy. Anyone know if the date is more or less less likely correct? Very disappointed of the news so hoping it is just a preliminary date they through out there before it is truly firm.

Should increase of iron club length match woods/hybrids

We’ll likely my issue is golf galaxy is who fitted my irons. Maybe not the best option but they include the cost for fitting if you purchase clubs from them Full bag fitting otherwise would cost much more and no refund at purchase. Me just me being cheap. -
Should increase of iron club length match woods/hybrids

I do agree but part of my question was to confirm what I was already told at golf galaxy. I swung several hybrids at the time of my iron fitting to match my irons and was nearly ready to purchase. But again he just had me in standard clubs. Just altering stiffness. He either did not care much because I just booked iron fitting or I would get the same if I go back. I would prefer to order directly from Callaway. And for the irons, I spoke to Callaway and they mentioned that my additions to my irons should follow with wedges. ( I did however notice that Taylormade wedges are .5 more upright at standard than the Callaways so instead of 2 up I assume I would need 2.5 up on on those clubs. Tm standard 64.5. + 2 = 66.5 callaway standard. 64. +. 2.5 = 66.5 both have same standard length. -
I have just been fitted for a set of irons. I ordered TM Stealth irons. They are on the way. What I was measured at was a additional .5 inch in length and 2up in lie. I am 6 ft tall with a wrist to floor of 38.5. They will not be here for 2 to 3 weeks. I want to order some hybrids and SW and LW. I had already bought a 3wood with standard length. And I’m am quite happy with it. The same person on a pervious day at golf galaxy ( non official fitting) told me he does not recommend adding length to fairway woods at my height. So I did not. But I was curious that I am adding .5 to my irons. Granted at the fitting I mentioned that I felt like I am too hunched over with my OLD standard size x-12’s irons. First I am sure I need to wait to make sure my new iron settings are something I like. But I don’t want too. Lol. But my question is if I add +.5 in length in irons, would it translate equally to hybrids? Not sure if I can adjust lie on hybrids. Also should the same length and lie adjustment be carried to SW and LW. 56 and 60 degree
