  1. Howdy fellow golf enthusiasts! My name is Nick St. Aubin and this will be my first time testing products through MyGolfSpy. I can’t wait to get out on the course to test the Gilmore Collection’s driver and 3 wood (just call me Happy Gilmore!). I reside in Minneapolis, Minnesota and am happy to say the snow hasn’t affected my golf season too much this year. I picked up golf during college and have worked my way to a 6 handicap. I play recreationally on weekends, but I spend most days of the week at the driving range working on my swing. You can also catch me on the off season enjoying a beverage at my local golf simulator competing in a league. I am looking forward to the 2024 golf season, with my season already booking in with tournaments, you could say I am anxious to try some new equipment. I’m currently gaming a Ping G410 lst driver set at 10 degrees and a Titleist 915 3 wood (needless to say I am excited to try something new!). Like you, my fellow golf fanatics, I get amped for new clubs to show up at my door. The sleek look of these new clubs from this up and coming golf brand have me suspecting they could be an asset to my performance. Although there isn’t much data out there to support the performance behind these clubs, I am intrigued to see if they magically turn me into a scratch golfer. I’m looking forward to sharing some unboxing pics and some others from the course! Cheers, Nick
  2. Awesome! Good luck testers, can’t wait to see what we think about them.
  3. Good morning, Feels like a major week where we should be watching golf already! Looking at an anomaly of a weekend in Minnesota with the forecast being 85 and sunny. Excited to watch some golf. USA!
  4. Most points-Patrick Cantlay Clinching point-Xander Schauffele USA USA USA!
  5. Hey everybody, I’ve been on the forums for a while now but thought I’d throw out some info to get to know everyone better! 1. How long have you been playing golf? I’m 27 now and started playing when I was 12. Didn’t swing a club from age 14-18 then started again once I got to college. I was probably a 18 handicap then and have since gotten down to a 5. The addiction is real. 2. What’s your handicap or normal score? I’ve gotten down to a 5 this year and have been consistently shooting 75-80 for most of the summer. 3. What do you love about golf? Pretty much everything. I love getting up early and driving to the course. Getting food and a drink in the clubhouse before a round. Once I’m at the course I’m in a better place. Obviously hitting good shots and making putts is probably the best thing about the game, but everything that comes with it is a positive thing in my life. 4. What brings you to MyGolfSpy? Do you already know any other Spies? To test equipment of course! The chance to be a tester brought me here but all of the other information I’ve gotten from the forums has been fantastic. All the positive feedback from other spies has really been awesome. I don’t know any other spies personally but I’ve had a great time interacting with everyone on the site. 5. Where are you from? What is your home course? I’m from Minneapolis, Mn and have been located here my entire life. I’m a member at Braemar golf course but I bounce around quite a bit to whatever course will have me.(hard to find a tee time these days) 6. What are the best and worst things about golf in your region? The best thing about living in Minneapolis is the amount of courses(public and private) around. I don’t have to drive more than 30 minutes to find a nice course to play at. The worst thing in my life right now is that we can only play golf 4-5 moths a year! Tough life, I know. 7. What do you do for a living? Mechanical Engineer. 8. How’d you pick your user name? NickyBobby, like Ricky Bobby. Because my name is Nick…. Ha Ha play on words
  6. Yeah I like the 3 turned up to 16 The high loft 3 woods are what I’m leaning towards!
  7. Have had a Titleist 915f 3 wood in my bag for years that I rarely use. It goes about the same distance as my ping g410 3 hybrid and is less forgiving so it doesn’t see much usage. So I’m looking for a new one that can provide me some distance that isn’t too difficult to hit. The pings from the g410 to to the g430 all look nice. Any suggestions?
  8. Congrats testers. Excited to hear how they perform!
  9. Intrigued to see how this works for the testers. Have fun!
  10. Rhone and Primo are the only pants I wear on and off the course now. So good.
  11. Usually about 45 minutes to an hour before depending on if I’m getting a drink in the clubhouse. Enough time to get some putting and chipping in and maybe hit a few on the range.
  12. Can’t wait to see the testers set ups and reviews!
  13. I figured it had been asked before, just couldn’t find anything on it. That makes sense though. Appreciate the reply.
  14. Has there been any talk of a MyGolfSpy app launching m?(not that the site isn’t spectacular) just curious if anything is in the works there.
  15. The more i look into all of these clubs the more I want them. King Forge Tec irons are looking pretty sweet. Can’t wait to see how they perform.
  16. This is great, thanks! Yoga seems to be the consensus… thanks everyone.
  17. What are some of the best stretches or body weight exercises you do to gain flexibility and possibly speed in your swing?
  18. Have a Titleist 913f 3 wood in good shape for $75
