I recently purchased a set of 6, 7, 8, and 9 irons with the name "Monitor" on the back of the club head.

Anyone have any idea which company manufactured these clubs?
Possibly the clubs might have been made in the UK or Scotland, versus U.S.?
They are metal shafted clubs (so NOT hickories), and look like clubs from the 50's or 60's; however, they are very unique in that the bottom of the clubs contain both the club number and older style vintage name:
6 - mashie niblick
7 - pitcher (which is a name I've never seen used, even in hickory irons)
8 - pitching niblick
9 - niblick
