  1. Zepp Golf. For about $100, you get useful and understandable (for non professionals) swing data which can be discreetly and quickly used on driving range. Could even be used during an on course practice round, although I have yet to do so.
  2. Reminds me of a time one of our members in our group commented to me in a condescending way: "I don't golf for the exercise." To which I replied: "Me either, but it (walking) is an added benefit."
  3. Even at age 71, I generally walk. The exception would be 90+ temps and high humidity. I generally feel walking is the best aspect of my game. On those days where I play terrible, at least I have accomplished something by getting in 5 miles of steps (not to mention moving the bags weight as well.)
  4. Our group of usually 3 foursomes pays quarters for skins and low gross. The golfer finishing out typically collects most skins, yet many of us often don't see his ball fall in the hole.
  5. Is it a rules violation or just a breech of etiquette for a golfer to start putting and even hole out before fellow players bodily arrive on the green. A considerably better golfer in our group of double digit handicappers often is on the green in regulation, well before the rest of the group. He often immediately goes to his ball and proceeds to putt before the rest of us have even hit on the green. It is not uncommonly for some of us in the group to not see him finish the hole. He claims to be playing "ready" golf, but this seems to be a stretch of that concept.
