    Good Morning!!
Feeling a bit better today.. l slept 2 and 3 hours in a row vs waking up every 1 hour the past few nights 🤦‍♂️ ..sheesh...
I dunno got plenty of fresh air and outdoor exercise (like a puppy or a little kid 😂) so I "should've" (quote-unquote) slept well but who knows ....
Anyway have a conference call coming up with my wife (a teacher) - she's actually starting to say the Big "R" word out loud and a benefits specialist gives them info and answers questions.
Have a great and Happy TGIF all!!

Absolutely into buying used clubs, bought my driver "used" and it still had the plastic on from CPO. Have even bought an "average" rate club from CPO and it was pretty good, couple skymarks but doesn't bother me.

Even though I play a Taylormade driver , their claims from year to year is. “ another 10 yards” . Eventually, even an idiot can realize that we aren’t hitting our drivers 300 yard yet ( well most of us normal folk)! So now everyone (OEMs)has now bowed out of the distance arena and entered into the forgiveness fad . What I am getting at if we focused more on hitting better shots , putting , improving our short game and the basic fundamentals of the swing , you would probably be surprised at how little the new and improved toys have little effect on you!

I rarely buy current year new clubs.  With eBay, FB Marketplace, the Classified section of this forum, etc, it is relatively easy to find used clubs in mint or like new condition.  It is considerably less expensive to purchase used clubs versus the current year models.  The key is to know exactly what you want and then begin your search.  Like any online shopping, be wary, but using a service such as PayPal for your purchase adds protection against fraudulent sellers.  I recently purchased a Scotty Cameron putter in like new condition and saved $150 compared to the new retail price.

Good Friday morning, fellow golfers!  Another golf day which means I will be playing 3 days in a row.  It may be related to global warming, but this is the best February that I remember.  I hope everyone has an enjoyable weekend.

I have zero issues with buying "like new" clubs FROM REPUTABLE SELLERS.  I have been a big fan of www.callawaygolfpreowned.com and have bought "like new" wedges, putter, and multiple fairway woods from them.  They also list their clubs on eBay.  I just have never bought irons from them...yet.  Their "like new" has always been pristine.
I would recommend staying away from some stuff on eBay as there is A TON of counterfeiters out there.  I do not trust anyone on eBay selling driver shafts as it is super easy to buy a premium shaft only to find out later (when you replace the grip and see what was underneath the grip tape) that it was a repainted $10 shaft made in China.  Sure enough, I found a manufacturerer in China that counterfeitted shafts and they would have sold the counterfeits to me in bulk.
I bought GolfPride iron grips once only to find that they were fake.  As soon a a drop of solvent touched the Golf Pride logo, it ran.
There are several YouTube videos showing how good counterfitters are making things look. I am not saying everything is counterfeit, but, buyer beware.

Top of the pot spies! ☕  "Winter" seems to be officially over here in the valley of the sun.  We nearly reached 80F yesterday and today looks like a repeat.  Going to spend time at the range and practice area right after the 1245 shotgun start... come to learn that's the time to go during peak season as it's a ghost town immediately afterwards.  Plus, observed from a safe distance, it's a hoot watching the circus of carts heading out. 🤣  Have a great Friday everyone!

Good morning to all and a good Friday. Enjoying my morning espresso on another spring like day. Had a frustrating half day yesterday playing an exciting game of hurry up and wait, waiting to get my passport renewed. The good news, mission accomplished and I don’t have to do that again for 10 years. Nexus renewal was far easier.
@GolfSpy_APH Good luck with your move.  Moving is never easy, usually stressful and a huge pain, but oh so nice when you get into the new place and set up the way you want.
Today’s message is from our pal the nervous golfer.  Enjoy

    Well Good Morning Spies.
Yesterday we attempted to regain our crown in the St Jude Crushes Cancer Scramble and while we failed to do so we won with providing over $5,098 To St Judes as a team and iam much happier about that than any "win" in a charity tourney. Iam hitting my new I210 irons so well its actually fun to play par 3s again 🤣 and the new G430 MAX 10k is a treat as well although I only hit driver on 4 holes at KWGC . Headed to the SIM as we speak to test some new S159 wedges and see if maybe after seven years of Vokeys something new may grab me. I buy new wedges every two years and i am not needing new right now but they look so nice!! Have a great day and maybe we will get lucky and the phones will go out again!!!

Good Thursday morning, golfers!  It is golf day here in SW MO and the weatherman says a high of 65°.  I will have light layers and plan on finishing my round in shorts, which as I have probably mentioned before, is unusual for February.

If might have benefit, but it is against the equipment rules.
    3. The Grip
    a. Definition
The grip consists of material added to the shaft to enable the player to obtain a firm hold. The grip must be fixed to the shaft, must be straight and plain in form, must extend to the end of the shaft and must not be moulded for any part of the hands. If no material is added, that portion of the shaft designed to be held by the player must be considered the grip.
    b. Cross-section (See Fig. 19)
    (i) For clubs other than putters the grip must be circular in cross-section, except that a continuous, straight, slightly raised rib may be incorporated along the full length of the grip, and a slightly indented spiral is permitted on a wrapped grip or a replica of one.
(ii) A putter grip may have a noncircular cross-section, provided the cross-section has no concavity, is symmetrical and remains generally similar throughout the length of the grip. (See Section 3b(ii) explanation in the interpretations).
(iii) The grip may be tapered but must not have any bulge or waist. Its cross‑sectional dimensions measured in any direction must not exceed 1.75 inches (44.45 mm).
(iv) For clubs other than putters the axis of the grip must coincide with the axis of the shaft.
