  1. Went to try out some drivers because I just love trying the new stuff. Had the TSR2 with ventus shaft previous to the fitting and didnt plan on getting anything new. After trying most of the major brands’ new driver, the fittter handed me the Ping 430 LST…smh. It was going 25-30 yards longer and way better dispersion than any other new club and my current TSR2. Sooooooo, I will be gaming the Ping 430 LST with the VA composites SYNYSTR shaft this season!! Love it so far!!!
  2. Haha! Just sold the meez.1 max yesterday. So im down to two!!
  3. Ended up getting the DF3 with TPT shaft! Only rolled a few putts indoors, but so far I like it!! Will keep you posted if I like it better than my Meez.1 max with TPT and white Link.1 with accra shaft.

  6. Awesome!! Guaranteed you’d love it!! Enjoy!!
  7. Sounds good! I ended up purchasing the new DF3 with TPT shaft. So Ill compare the DR3 to my current Meez.1Max with TPT shaft once I get it. Ill probably end up selling the Meez.1 Max though.
  8. You are going to love it! I guarantee it!! Lol
  9. I couldnt agree more! Just echoing this...finding the shaft for my woods (and hybrids) has completely improved my control with these clubs!! It took some time and money (and being honest with myself about my swing limitations with 3 woods, lol), but finally comfortable with my setup of paradym super hybrid 2h (245 yds), TSR2 4 wood(230 yds), TSR2 5 wood (220-225 yds), u505 2i (225 yds), and TSR3 3h (215-220 yds). I dont have all these clubs in the bag at one time though.
  10. I kind of had the same problem with 3 woods myself. Couldnt hit them, would buy the "newest, most forgiving" and it never worked out. Actually didnt even carry any woods (other than driver) for a while, just hybrids. Decided to get fit for a TSR2 4 wood with Titleist. Love my TSR2 4 wood now. Loved it so much I got a TSR2 5 wood too (I dont usually carry the 5 wood in the bag though). Also got the callaway paradym super hybrid in a 2hybrid (dialed it down a degree as well to mimic a 3 wood). Super hybrid is very easy to hit and I get the distance of a 3 wood and it is my go to club on par 5s out the rough or fairway. I use the TSR 4 wood out the fairway and off the tee. I do want to mention that I think the shaft is really important for all these clubs!! I got fitted into all my shafts, I ended buying them on ebay/facebook/2ndswing to save a few dollars though as I got fitted into premium Ventus shafts (love them though). I know you cant swing a club right now, but I dont think it will matter what head you buy, but when able get fitted for the shaft you need/like.
  11. I have the blacked out T200. I havent had an issues for 2 seasons. Buuuuuut, I will be double checking now, lol.
  12. The cost of shipping the putter to Oregon was pricey from Illinois, I think another $50-$60. Thats fantastic!! You definitely want to stick with whatever you are comfortable with. “The grass isnt always greener…” But for me, I was willing to take the chance, that at bare minimum, the TPT wouldnt be any worse than the Accra shaft. I was okay with the “financial loss” if it wasnt better. Luckily it worked out and I am super happy about exploring the unknown!!
  13. I was able to use the TPT shaft in my Meez Max for the first time on the course this past weekend while on vacation in Orlando. I do feel the weight of the putter is definitively more distributed throughout the shaft. I felt like my old Accra shaft most of the weight was near the head of the putter. I like the more even-weighted feel of the TPT waaaaaaaaay more. I do feel like my distance control was a little bit better, which was what I needed personally, as I have a better sense of the impact the putter head will have due to the even-weight. Subjectively, I felt the ball was "softer" off the putter head with the TPT shaft, not sure how to exactly define or describe. I liked the feeling, but some people may describe it as not being able to "feel" the ball when they strike it. I use a very firm ball (Left Dash ProV1x). Overall, I putted well (after the first hole on each course after not going to the practice green at either course) in both rounds. I am okay with the money I spent to reshaft my Meez Max putter. I can see it being worth it for those that like a more evenly weighted shaft and have a few hundred dollars to burn. If you dont have a few hundred dollars to burn, I could see some people complaining about their purchase. In the end, I wouldnt think twice about sticking with the TPT shaft over the Accra shaft. TPT for me!!!
  14. @Owengeorge13 I had the DW C-Series (mid mallet)
  15. @ole grayIt cost me total of $549 ($399 for the shaft and $150 for the labor).
  16. Thanks!! I appreciate that input!! Good to know foam balls are still loud. I did not plan to use the foam balls in conjunction with a launch monitor. The foam balls would strictly be for a few early morning swings before the round. I didnt want to wake up the wife and kids, but still wanted to get some real swings in!!
  17. Thanks! I appreciate the link!! I looked at the foam practice balls and will likely get some. I wanted to see if anyone had experience with a particular brand, with that specific brand hitting into a net off a mat, and the amount of noise they have noticed with those particular practice balls. Hopefully someone is in the same scenario as me and has some experience!!
  18. Good morning everyone! I recently just set up a simulator in an small empty spare bedroom on our 3rd floor using a TrueStrike mat, Spornia net, SkyTrak+ launch monitor, and Ipad mirroring to a TV. I have real golf balls and BirdieBall practice balls. I want to start taking swings before my round, but the bedroom is located over our master bedroom and the sound of hitting a real golf ball or birdie ball is pretty loud. Ive tested it with the doors closed and it is pretty loud even 2 floors below the room. I wanted to see if "The Spies" had recommendations about a silent/quiet practice ball that will make minimal noise when striking with the club and minimal noise when hitting the net (the Spornia net is awesome and doesnt make too much noise regardless). I have very limited ball flight of course, so a practice ball flying 100 yards does not matter to me. The noise factor is of the utmost importance. Thanks for any input!!
  19. UPS delivered my baby back to me with a brand new TPT shaft!! I have the Meez Max, previously had the Accra shaft. Now, it could be the money I paid for it and my mind willing me to say that the TPT shaft is better, but I am definitely SOLD on the TPT shaft. The feel is so much better than the Accra in my opinion. The weighting is more evenly distributed along the putter which gives me a better feel. I felt like the Accra, I could feel the weight of the head of the putter. With the TPT the weighting seems more even despite the increased weight near the head. Ive only rolled a dozen putts on my BirdieBall green, but so far I feel like it was money well spent. I hit the course in a couple days, hopefully it translates for me with better distance control. Obviously with the LAB putter it is point and shoot, but for me it is all about distance control. TPT for the win!!
  20. Niiiiice!! Definitely have had some of my friends adopt this year (much to my haste as their putting/scores will improve, lol). But I just got the email this morning from LAB that my baby is on her way back via UPS!! She will have a brand new TPT shaft!! I will report back soon with my critique as I previously had the Accra shaft on the Meez Max. But as of now, the countdown begins til she comes home!!
  21. Niiiiiice! Looks great! Congrats!! I did end up selling the SIK on ebay. It sold in less than 30 minutes, lol. And I havent regretted it at all!! LOVE MY LAB PUTTER!!
  22. Sweet!! Just sent mine in to get reshafted (UPS should be dropping it off at Lab tomorrow). Hopefully get it back in a few weeks!!!
  23. Well, that is kind of a bummer!! Congrats to the winners! Can we split the 2nd place and I grab one wedge @The Clown of Death?? LOL
