  1. Yeah same, the way I play golf sometimes the green fee is the cheapest aspect of a round! Haha
  2. Just put the finishing touches on my main review. Updates to come of course. Is there any other testing requests we haven't hit on yet or questions about anything?
  3. Yeah, I'm working on my final write up right now, but that pretty much sums it up. The alignment aid is fantastic for people that like to use them (my favorite), the ball is as good as pretty much on the market as far as distance, spin… It's really just a durability issue. I wonder if this is is a batch issue because my last case of Maxfli Tour X from a few months ago had much better durability.
  4. Yeah, I was a bit surprised when I saw a few people say they are durable. I tested durability day one and saw a lot of wear. Started to wonder if I had it wrong!
  5. I've done some durability testing (pics to come) and I have to say they are a touch less durable than the other Maxfli balls I currently have. Not bad, but I'd say a tier 2 kind of performance
  6. Waiting for all of this snow to melt in Denver to get back to it! Are there any other specific requests for testing / pics or questions?
  7. Ahh cool, I haven't seen that updated version, that was a big part of my feedback. Might be worth revisiting!
  8. Looks like in their marketing pics the graphics are enhanced so the arrows to stand out more however, in real life they are more subtle
  9. Yeah, I think with the thin lines and the fact that it’s black-and-white; it’s actually less distracting than the triple track. I would not have guessed that from seeing the original pictures
  10. So I've played the last three days with the Tour X and all three days were fairly windy. I think Saturday was 20mph gusting to 35mph for reference. It felt quite stable in those conditions and I didn't notice it ballooning up more than any other golf ball might in that situation. I tend to launch higher, but spin a bit less, and so far this is looking to be a solid ball--at least for my numbers
  11. The bar has been set! I don't know how I'm ever going to live up to this! Regardless I can't wait to see the results
  12. I have to agree that I'm not immediately sold on it, but ready to give it a go with an open mind!
