  1. Anyone tried this with the new BRNR mini yet? I just picked up the 11.5 head. Thinking the A flex pro launch blue at 44". Just not sure how much weight to take out of the head.
  2. I play a mixed set of both brands. Sub 70 699 v2 utility, PXG 0211 Xcor2 5-pw, Sub 70 gap and SW. All blacked out with MMT shafts. Love both brands. And they both make great looking black irons that hold up to wear. I could easily play all 699 v2 or 0211 irons.
  3. I pre-ordered one this morning. Now the wait until the end of March. Will give me time to get an impact screen and mat set up. Will post my thoughts when it arrives.
  4. I was thinking the same thing. I have one that I bought cheap online that my daughter can make the Callaway "soccer" pattern on any ball.
  5. Looks really cool. Just watched the Golficty video. Some were asking about the side camera. They said you can use your phone as a 3rd camera that you can place anywhere.
  6. I went a slightly different route to get my swing weight down. Pxg 0211 driver 9 degree with the PLB 45 A flex. Cut mine to play at 44 inches. It's a dang fairway finding machine! While the shorter shaft may not give me the 10-20 yards of extra distance it does go about the same average distance as my stock Cobra LTDX, but with way more control and so easy to swing. I would say if you factor in total average distance, and balls in play it is "longer". It may not have that one rare "bomb" I would get every now and then lol. But so far loving the combo.
  7. I was fitted for half inch short, and PXG said the SW in the 5 iron is probably around C9.
  8. I just got the new 0211 irons with the MMT 80 stiff shafts. I bet those in the 50 gram L or the Cyprus L shafts would be amazing. I am coming from DGS300 and the lighter weight graphite has been amazing so far. I honestly could of probably went with the A or Regular flex MMT and got more distance with the same great control I have now.
  9. Was working close to a Golf Galaxy today, and picked up a senior flex PLB. Hopefully have time to put a PXG adapter on it tomorrow, and give it a whirl. What length are most playing at? Is 44 inches too short for this to work? Seems like most go 45.5-46?..
  10. If anyone happens to have a PXG driver regular flex Riptide CB, or possibly any regular flex shaft, and would like to try the senior flex Riptide CB I am open to trading shafts, and will pay for shipping both ways. I am getting along pretty well with the senior flex in the driver, but have to have a real smooth swing. I ordered the 7W at the same time with the R flex Rip CB and absolutely love that combo. Has just enough stability when I crank the head down -1.5 degrees that it is long and straight enough to be my only fairway wood in the bag. (I have never been one that tried to reach Par 5s from longer than 230). I will take the straight and easy 200-220 I get from this 7W all day long on the courses I play. I still try the senior PLB at some point, but want an every day "stable" shaft I trust that I can switch in and out.
  11. Took my 0211 9* with the senior flex Riptide CB out to the course the past 2 days. Found something interesting. I know most seem to go longer with shaft length with otto phlex, but after watching this video, https://youtu.be/dKifEJvj9KM , I found choking way down. Like 1.5 inches really brought this combo alive. Feel like I can swing easy and get great distance and control.
  12. So true about the riptide. I was shocked how solid it feels. The A flex doesn't feel any less stiff than my X flex Smoke Blue, or my buddies Smoke im10 Regular flex. Both of those have a much better "kick" feeling than the lighter weight and flex Riptide.
  13. Any thoughts on how the PLB might work in the PXG head? I can't decide if I want to order one for my 0211 or my Cobra LTDX. Played 18 today with the PXG 0211 A flex Riptide. Plays fine, but not getting that whippy autoflex feel, nor that extra "kick" everyone talks about.
  14. My brain over thinks things. But are most finding a lighter swing weight to work better? Thinking about my PXG 0211 with the A flex Riptide CB. Looking online stock SW is something like D3. Wonder it cutting it down to 44.5 would make a difference? That would get it closer to D0? Other option is to buy a 2.5gram weight to replace the 10gram. Or just buy a PLB lol.
  15. Just left the range for the second day with the 0211 Rip CB 50 A flex. I still can't believe how stable of a shaft it feels to be A flex. I got the 7W with the same shaft but Regular flex. That club is perfect. Dead straight and long. Still trying to dial in dispersion with the A flex driver. 8 degree setting and tee it high seems to be working the best. Would like to maybe try the 5 gram weight in the head vs the stock 10. I tried it with the weight out, and it was too light. I do think the 0211 spins more than others which could be hurting distance.
  16. Looking forward to hearing your thoughts on the PLB LTDX combo. Gonna order a PLB for either my Cobra or PXG 0211 soon.
  17. Got my 0211 9degree with the Riptide CB Aflex in yesterday. Took it too the range. That shaft is nice, but I see now what others are talking about the feel not being anything like the AF. It is extremely stable and honestly doesn't feel any "less" stiff than the Smoke Blue RDX X in my Cobra LTDX. Now. Do I get the PLB to try for the Cobra LTDX? Or the PXG 0211?? My suspicion is the Cobra will be longer, BUT the price is so cheap on the PXG that the resale value of the cobra will probably be close to 3 times what I paid for the PXG new lol.
  18. Wonder if you replace the stock weight with something lighter, or remove it all together if that will help? I know autoflex guys seem to get better results with a lighter head. I think the 0211 head comes stock heavier and shaft shorter for more control?
  19. Well. Just ordered the PXG 0211 deal. Senior flex Riptide 5.0. Couldn't decide between that or the Cyprus. Oh well for $119 just that same shaft was going to cost that much for me to try it in my Cobra LTDX. I usually play a Smoke Blue RDX x-flex, but played with a friend of mine that has the LTDX with a Smoke Green regular, and I was killing it. Hopefully the "otto phlex" concept will work with my new PXG 0211.
