  1. Thank you. very interesting. Are you going to release any data tables on these findings?
  2. I have been using it for three months now, and it's been great for my practice. I bought it with my wedge game in mind, but have learned a lot more about my swing than I could have imagined. The biggest revelation was my tempo. I never even considered that I had an issue with my tempo until I saw my ratio which was both inconsistent, and bad. Around 2.1:1-2.4:1. The different data tables based on handicap grouping and comparing these to my own data has helped a lot. So to team Dewiz, please share more data. That's how I realized I needed to increase my downswing speed - I was among the slower in your data tables, and now I am in a good range edit: while I am posting I want to ask Dewiz team here a question - is there any data that you see that really good players are doing a lot differently than hackers? I know now that the start to impact time is faster for better players, but is there anything else where you see that there is a golden nugget in the data?
  3. I've been working on my wedges for two weeks at the range, and it feels like I'm getting the hang of it. What is a good tolerance level to work with? I have mine set at 1.2 inches and I keep hitting around 70% of my swings within the tolerance. Is this good? Do you have numbers for elite players?
  4. Alright, so I've ordered one today with a black friday offer. Going to try to improve consistency in my partial swings. Is there a good video with a tutorial or information on how to use Dewiz with wedges? I downloaded the app and there is something called gears in the wedge mode. How do I know what gear to use?
  5. Sorry for stupid question, but how would I know what my 3/4 swing is? Does deWiz measure this, because I only saw distance in inches.
  6. Does anyone have a training aid they recommend for getting better control of partial swings? Let's say I want to really be consistent on my 1/2 swing, my 3/5 swing and my 3/4 swing - what are the best aids for this?
  7. So many good comments. I've learned more just reading these posts than anything else. I never thought about it this way, but it is so obvious when I think about it. It has also gotten me to start thinking about finding one more partial swing lengths to use between 1/2 and 3/4 (call it a 3/5 if you like), and then find the club for the distance to get more control for anything 120 yards and closer.
  8. I have four wedges in my bag (46,50,54 and 58), and I have tried to practice so that I dial in on each one of them, but I have noticed that I do not feel comfortable hitting 3/4 swings or full swings with my 58 degree. I rather hit a 1/2 swing with my 54 degree instead of the 3/4 swing (with 58), and a 1/2 swing with the 50 degree instead of full swing (with 58). Not only is the distance control so much better, but also consistently more on target. Anyone else feel the same way, or is this a typical mid handicapper issue?
  9. Thank you! Which mode is the Full Swing practice? Do you get the same swing data in the other modes too?
  10. I was looking at the website and can't really figure out if you can you see several data points for the same swing, or do you only get transition data from the transition feature, and length of swing data on the length of swing feature?
  11. Anyone experienced the same issue with E6 connect not working on PC with Garmin R10?
  12. Verdict after second round. Seems to be very correct in distance, and just as good handling. I also upped my game a bit and had a couple of great wedge shots, so that might make me a bit biased right now Still too early for any real product judgement, but so far I don't see a reason to go for a more expensive name brand.
  13. I just bought one of the cheaper ones on amazon (below $80 dollars) that is rechargeable. I've tried it out once, and so far it seems to work just as fast and reliable as the more expensive ones. I've already lost two brand name rangefinders, so now I am trying this new strategy of buying a cheap one and see which occurs first: it breaking, or me losing it
  14. I bought a Garmin Approach R10 a little bit over a month ago, and one of the benefits was the E6 Connect free features for PC (one course, and driving range) But now I can't connect my E6 software with the R10. I have searched for answers, but can't find anything. Does anyone know if there is no more free access to certain features?
  15. Always on, even in between holes. I guess it started out being too lazy, and now it would just feel weird taking it off when gripping a club.
