  1. I have both the 305 "greens" (the dimpled sole ones) and the 405 series (giant cavity-back spaceships). I find the 305s play like Clevelands. The milled face is good, overall great value.
  2. I have a mental block around srixon. I was a super fanboy of their golf balls back when I worked at a course in the early 2000s. Bought a hat, and would buy a sleeve of new to head out and play. I loved them, but I would lose every. Single. One of them. Always. And then a maxfli or precept would take over and I would play out the rest of my round. After a 10 year hiatus, I'm back into golf. Looking down at a srixon ball, I feel the curse return. As far as other biases, I love ping, Ben Hogan, Callaway woods, and Cleveland putters. I don't have cable tv, I have never seen a PXG commercial, yet I'm not a fan, even if some of their clubs look like they would perform well. Brains are funny, and humans are just monkeys with car keys.
  3. Not sure if it has been mentioned here but I have really liked my Harry Taylor golf wedges. The dimpled soles are cool lol. I have a set of the 405s and then bought the 305s. They have a nice milled face and I found the weight felt lighter than a vokey, transitioning from my gi iron set a bit better. https://harrytaylorgolf.com/
  4. I like to walk the course and one of the best accessory purchases I have made for golf was a "Sunbrella". Basically, it is a large umbrella, silver on the top, black on the bottom. It drops the temperature underneath on sunny days 8-10ºC. Sure, some jackass in a cart may roll by saying, "I didn't hear it was going to rain today" but screw him, I'm walking and there's not a lot of shade if you're always in the middle of the fairway
  5. Thanks I was thinking of boiling or using a heat gun to see if I can get it off. Bending it was my big worry too. I actually reached out to Cleveland to see if they have any ideas. It's promising that adding epoxy in place worked for you.
  6. I just received a used Cleveland Classic #2 BRZ beauty off of Ebay. Good seller, they didn't know there was an issue. The Copper face insert is loose on the toe and heel side, and affects feel if you're not hitting the center. Got a great deal, knew it wasn't perfect, but can't really play it as is. This will be a back-up / collector, so I don't want to invest too much. Any suggestions on safely removing and re-securing? I see a lot of videos on doing odyssey soft inserts (I.e. boil to remove) but nothing on metal. Thanks!
