  1. I'm fairly certain that he's had lots of outside putting coaching the last five years, which has taken him from being a good putter to where he is today.
  2. Date 06/13/2023 Course Name Seneca Golf Course Gross Score 78 Course Handicap 8 Gross Strokes over/under par 6 Net Score to Par -2 Net Score 70 Net Birdies or better 5 Longest Drive 269 Started off great and then turned into one heck of a wind. Amongst the holes into the winds gusting to 30 mph were handicap holes 1, 2 and 4. So pleased with a decent round in those conditions.
  3. Date 06/06/2023 Course Name Seneca Golf Course Gross Score 80 Course Handicap 8 Gross Strokes over/under par 8 Net Score to Par 0 Net Score 72 Net Birdies or better 3 Longest Drive 298 Driver was erratic directly costing me 5 strokes. Back to the range! I've been working on distance and that has come around. Now I need to groove the swing changes to see if I can hit some more fairways while keeping most of my distance gains. Also, firm fairways can make you feel good about driving distances, as everyone in my group would attest to after Tuesday's round.
  4. Date 05/30/2023 Course Name Seneca Golf Course Gross Score 75 Course Handicap 9 Gross Strokes over/under par 3 Net Score to Par -6 Net Score 66 Net Birdies or better 9 Longest Drive 290 Four days on the range paid off! Along with making 11 of 11 putts from 4-10'. Now there's hope for the season going forward!
  5. I definitely used to be a trunk slammer, maybe I should go back to that! Now my game is off and I hit 15 -20 balls. What I really need is a few weeks of practice. I do like to hit a few chips and pitches which gives me a good feel for the firmness of the greens, stroke a few long putts for speed and then make 5 putts 8 - 10 feet, then 10 from 3 -4 feet.
  6. 1977 - Dunlop Maxpower - best set I've ever hit...of course I did play 3 or 4 times a week back then 1990s - Taylormade Tour Preferred irons, Cleveland wedges 2004 - MacGregor Tourney VIP Vfoil full set 2012 - Mizuno MP30 irons, Vokey wedges 2019 - Cobra Forged One Length irons, Ping G15 driver, Scotty Cameron Studio Select Laguna 2 putter
  7. I walk if allowed 98% of the time. It's so much more enjoyable for me and great exercise. Allows more perspective of green contours. I've had back issues that don't allow me to carry, but hope to get back to carrying this year. Carrying allows me as I'm walking to clean and dry my club, put my head cover on, take my glove off, walk across a green with my clubs(marking my ball and cleaning it), keep score, glove on, tee and ball out of pocket, driver out and head cover off. This saves up to a minute a hole over a push cart.
