Decided last night to go continue going golfballs deep on home improvement stuff this year. Now gonna get a landscaping wall thing done. Neighbor who did his (and is a general contractor to boot) said hed do it for a pretty respectable price. So I need to actually start buying crap so he can get started. His turned out pretty damn good. Gonna go with a more patterned darker stone for mine to match my trim (check the fake shutter).

Golf league was fun to kick off on tuesday. Didnt play great, but also didnt play terribly. Had a few blowup holes but did manage to birdie the second hardest hole on the course so .... yay? Pity I had a triple and quad bogey... (yeah it was that kind of up and down day). Now... I will say the 35-45mph gusting breezes didnt help. Eyes were getting sandblasted with pollen and I was just done by the end of it. Irons.... are in a good spot I think. My driver ehhhhhhh my overdraw was a pain in the ass all day. Throw in a lot of wind and well.... Id have been better off with an iron off the box probably. Now I just gotta figure out how to straighten the driver out. Seriously... how the s*** do I over draw a ball with a club face set 3* OPEN..... may have to hit the range this weekend to see if I cant sort out a setup or swing thought to fix it. Ah well, a 47 for the first official round of the year isnt the worst.

Ever play honestly not terribly, and still shoot awful? Had a 51 on saturday and I really didnt play super poorly... except in one aspect of the game. PUTTING Ooof. I three putted I think.... almost every hole. So I lost I mean at least 5-6 strokes off just putts. Just could not get a grasp on speed that day, short / long / no where close. It was rough. Like seriously. I was hitting greens... ffs hit a hybrid 170+ carry over water on my second shot and then three putt on one hole. Agony.

Just had mine done a month ago. Best improvement Ive done to my house in years. Well worth the unfortunate expense.

Gentlemen... and various ladies. Golf league once again is upon my group of hackers. Aaaaaand its probably going to get rained out its first day Potentially strong storms... hail, high wind, odd tornado... you know, the usual midwest s***. Though they are predicted to be scattered and from anywhere starting at 1pm..... till 10pm. Tee off is 5pm.

The lime green vice has may be my favorite color of all time on a ball. With my swing speed creeping up I could probably make really good use of the pro+, as is I have several dozen X LS callaways that are my current gamer it will be a while before I change balls though.

10000% My golf leagues hole 18. A not super long par5, but a difficult one (2nd highest handicap hole on the course). Up hill from the tee box and the crest of this hill is at almost 300yd on a slight leg left. Needless to say you have a blind shot to the green which slightly dog legs right at the very end. Also dont miss trying to hit this second shot or your ball is just GONE. Not much room for error if you try and go for the green on the second shot. mess tee shot up? enjoy the trees you puppet ass ******. Too short? enjoy being blind for several shots.

When you dont notice it says step so you take a swing like you normal would and swing the driver equivalent of the fastest youve ever swung a club. 108 is just mental (for me). Also.... im so bad im faster with a non step swing than with one

Know how I said I was gonna take a rest before league started next tuesday? Sigh... already booked 9 holes for saturday. I mean come on, its going to be 80* and not have rained in a day so I couldnt resist. Really did want one last round where I actually attempt to score well (from the new tees I have to play) before league starts. Be a bit of a change playing there the whole year. Seriously there will be guys around my age or younger playing from tees 50yds closer on some holes Needless to say I might not be winning much money this year haha. Ah well at least im honest about it. Gotta wonder how many will be playing the closer box just for an advantage, 5698yds from the whites vs what ill be playing at 6090yd on the blues. If anything I suppose this will maybe help me reach a new level having to play there regularly.

That said ANY speed training is beneficial. Ill echo what others have said, "I really wish I had started this a lot sooner".

They have a waitlist for android at the moment is all unfortunately, kind of shocked they dont have that available still. Why cut off 50% of a potential customer base? Its a shame as the system really is very good. Though needing someone whos not in the iOS ecosystem to require it sigh. Thats an added expense to an already pretty expensive system.

im at the exact same spot roughly. Yeah FSS is pretty brutal with the weight sets. Im having to take a week off as my elbow was bothering me (started before I even started stack) and I played two rounds friday and then saturday. So giving it a time to calm down. Somethings just inflamed becuase just a regular over the counter NSAID made it feel a TON better. Stupid elbow I got speed gains to make!
