I feel like getting the cheapest urethane ball you can is a decent place to start regardless of brand. That cover type just plays so so much better.

It all started after we hit a Turkish buffet and saw "The Rusty Bull" brewery across the street. Walked over and saw a TON of USL gear on the walls. Got to talking to one of the brewers there and he was like oh yeah... we make the golden boot ale for the team. "Wanna go to a game?" lol **** yes we do (Louligan here from the STLFC USL days). Hes like ok cool theres a game the next day just show up and say we sent you. someone will get you tickets. Damn I need to go back there was such a lovely place.

Last time I visited Charleston... I ended up hanging out with the entire Battery supporter group at a tailgate before a game. Sadly the game got lightningd out, but I had a blast.

Oof. Bit of a rough round. I had two holes that just utterly ass blasted me. Topped a drive on the first hole. I should have taken an unplayable (I was IN the tree line couldnt swing really). But no. I am dumb thinking (I can totally get out of this)... Ended up with a 9 on the par 5 (ow). Dont be the hero... im not good enough to do that. Another one was just a nasty downhill lie with ball below my feet. I just failed to hit the ball well and chunked it maybe 40yds. Eh that happens not upset there, was a difficult shot for sure. Whats the move there? A really lofted shorter club and just take my medicine? I tried using a 5i which didnt work well at all and its not for lack of me being able to hit it. Had a situation where I was really close to a tree so could only hit a not full follow through shot with it and sent that thing like 180yds. Better execution on the latter than the former for sure. Much flatter lie though. The super killer this round though was putting. OOOOOOFFFFFAAAA. I could not two putt to save my life yesterday. So so so many tap in third putts. Six of them actually. I dropped 6 strokes on JUST putts. Would have turned my 49 into a respectable 43. I bogey those two disaster holes instead and Probably woulda been in the high 30's. Darn. So many missed opportunities this round. TLDR: Compounding mistakes and putting like a dipshit cost me. Truely a tale of contrast lol. This hole bad touched me. Having just tested them... Id give the sugar pures' a try. not super rock hard like a TP5 / ProV but not super super soft like my B RXS either.

Told my mom to get my dad one of these for his birthday (his watch is oooollllllldddd). I had the s62 and I loved it. This seems even better. Hoping for some early impressions.

coffee is in hand, which after the almost 5hr round yesterday in what had to be 90% humidity... im dead on my feet today. It staying cloudy for all of .... 30 seconds and me leaving my hat in the car... OOF. im crispy to boot. The good news is I broke 90 for the second time this year (and only the third whole 18 ive played all year no less). A lovely 87. Now if I could just figure out why my driver distance has dropped 30yards... Granted we had no rollout yesterday thanks to it being cartpath only from a ton of rain the past few days.

I’ll have my final review up tomorrow. 5hrs on an 18hole round today killed me (cart path only it’s rained every day). Heat index was over 103ish. I’m dead tired.

Have a round in a few hours planned just hoping the weather holds up. Worst case the day gets cancelled I make more beer instead so still kind of a win.

nice. Ive only cracked the 30's once this year so far. Have stayed consistently in the low 40's though which is nice compared to last year for me. I had three goals this year. Dont shoot higher than a 50 in league. Get the hcp below a 20. Shoot an even game if I can. So far have done 2 / 3. Missed #3 by 2". Had a tap in for par that was almost a birdie. Into the 16's on hcp now too.

It gets better at it, but its not perfect for sure. Think mine has ~1900 shots to work with.
