  1. I think we may a few left, but I’ll let @GolfSpy SAM or @GolfSpy BOS confirm. The only requirement is posting 5 rounds played in the VCT thread. Season 3 will be starting around the beginning of April, so you should have that covered in no time.
  2. MGS Forum Member VCT Cup Tournament Round 2 And then there were four. Congrats to the flight winners on a tremendous week of play! The rules remain unchanged from last week and the thread will lock at 9:00 PM on Sunday March 24th. Good luck to the remaining teams and play well!
  3. The weather this week may dictate a SIM round for me, but we’ll see. Great playing in Round 1, I’ll do my best to produce a better result in Round 2!
  4. On the strength of their overall lineup I would like to try Ping, when we offered the s159 testing opportunity I built out an entire bag with their Webfit app and I am honestly intrigued by the recommendations. I would put it all in a Ping Hoofer 14 way and go on my merry way
  5. Small sample, but the ball speeds I was seeing with average range balls coupled with the shape of the shots and the dispersion was encouraging. I am intrigued to get the LS out on the course, with decent balls, and decent weather. With any luck, that first week in April it will all coalesce
  6. There is a fair amount of historical data to support that thesis…
  7. 1 week ago this was a much easier question to answer. It will be between the QI-10 LS and the LTDx LS Either way, I will have a Fujikura Ventus TR Blue 6x Velocore Shaft in it.
  8. Just a reminder that we need a picture of the scorecard for the Tournament, so that @Golf2Much can tabulate your partner and your best ball score. Thanks.
  9. Average carry of my 9 iron is 145 yards Average carry of my 8 iron is 157 yards So as others have mentioned, which club I use is dictated by the actual conditions present at the time. The pin location would factor in as well.
  10. By my unofficial count, there have been 13 1st round scores posted. Leaving 19 still needed. As a reminder, the thread locks Sunday evening at 9pm. All scores that will be counted must be posted prior to the thread locking. Any competitors that haven’t posted by Sunday at 9pm will be unable to turn in a score and will have to rely on their partner to advance. That being said, good luck and get those scores posted!
  11. Ultimately, once your partner has posted you can pick the round that works best in conjunction with his round. @Golf2Much and I would only ask that you try to make that determination as early as you are able, to help limit the number of last minute scores he will have to tabulate.
  12. Here is hoping. Given the 6 week testing period, spending a total of 3 of them waiting for a defective product to be replaced is less than ideal, so any days that can be shaved off of the initial estimate would be good fortune indeed.
  13. We will leave it open as long as folks are interested in adding rounds to it. The system requires an end date for the tournament, so I picked the end of the year, figuring I can adjust accordingly.
