  1. I have both hybrid (19 loft) and driving iron (20 loft) at home. What I decide to take with me heavily depend on how windy it is. Driving iron for no to little windy days and hybrid for windier days.
  2. Since no one has started this discussion yet, I thought I'd get one started. Who will be jumping on this bandwagon? (I personally will be happily staying with my SC Squareback 2 no matter how many tournaments are won with the Jailbird)
  3. Thanks for the detailed review. I just ordered their new Sussex glove. I normally use PXG or G/Fore gloves and I'm excited to see how the Red Rooster will fit.
  4. I agree with you 100%. Where I live in Texas, we have a dramatic temperature change between summer vs winter so I normally check the loft and lie angle between each season change.
  5. Amen brother! Miss the good old days when I had no idea what lofts my irons and wedges had.
  6. Miura KM-700 irons 4-PW that I ordered back in April but still haven't received yet... Originally it was supposed to be shipping end of June but now pushed out to end of July. I also just got Callaway Paradigm TD 3 wood, 2023 GBB 4iron (to use as a driving iron @ 20 degree loft), and two Jaws Raw wedges. I had a lot of trade in credit through their 2x promotion after trading in my PXG Gen 4 irons and it pretty much paid for everything including the $450 GBB 4 iron.
  7. I think that's what I wanted to do all along and just needed some reassurance! Thanks!
  8. I'm in a very similar situation.. I have 2 clubs that I choose to game pending the course I am playing. 3 hybrid at 19 or Callaway GBB 4 iron at 20 (My 4 iron in my iron set is 22 so GBB 4 iron subs as my 3 iron). If I play both the 3H and GBB 3 iron, I have a perfect gap between my 3 wood and 4 iron but I need to lose one wedge... If I keep 4 wedges, I need to drop one between 3H and 3i which will leave me with a bigger gap than I would like between 3 wood and 4 iron... But since I will be using my wedges much more on the course, I opted for the 4 wedge option for now.
  9. PW has Steelfiber PR i95 Stiff and GW, SW, LW have same modus 105 Wedge shafts. Thanks for your feedback! As per your suggestion, I think I will keep my wedges way they are for now and make any changes if I truly feel the need.
  10. Looking for some wisdom from fellow MyGolfSpy members. My wedge set up used to be 48-PW, 52-GW, 56-SW and 60-LW which worked out perfect. My new set that I will be getting soon will have 45-PW so I changed my gap wedge to 50 degree loft and I am caught in a dilemma on what I should do with my SW and LW. - I can adjust my SW to 55 degrees so I can keep a constant 5 degree gap throughout all my wedges (45, 50, 55, 60) - I can change my SW and LW to 54 and 58 degrees to keep 4 degree gap throughout (45, 50, 54, 58) - Or just keep my set as is (45, 50, 56, 60) I would love to hear everyone's thoughts on how big of a difference a 1 degree of loft on wedges?
  11. My bag is Vessel Lux XV Cart Bag. Worth every penny!
  12. I consider myself pretty active in selling and trading in my used clubs since I upgrade much more than I should... I normally sell via FB marketplace since I can get at least 50% more than what any other B&M can offer (PGA superstore, 2nd swing, etc..) But Callaway is offering 2x for your trade in this month and it was too good to pass up. I was looking to sell my PXG Gen 4 iron set with Sugar Daddy (Gen 1) wedges and Callaway website was offering more for my Gen 4's than the Gen 5's for some reason. And with the 2x the trade offer, I am getting more than what I can sell for via FB marketplace. Basically, their normal trade-in value for my iron set is $500 so they're giving me $1,000 (average selling price on FB is $650). And for my wedges, their normal trade-in is $120 so I am getting $240 each which is more than their new Jaws Raw wedges. I guess the caveat is you have to purchase Callaway equipment whether you're a big fan of Callaway or not. I am super happy with the trade-in value I received for my 2 years used set and I got some brand new Callaway equipment to try!
