  1. Pics say a 1000 words, But the pics don’t give it justice for Scotty’s custom shop did a fantastic job. This TEI has been in my basement for 15years screaming for a refurb and I always kept putting it off to next year. Well, next year finally arrived. I’ve been fighting cancer, slowly improving. I’m a lucky hacker.
  2. hello fellow hoes, I thought I would provide an update on the purchase of my indoor putting green that I made on Black Friday. https://www.birdieball.com In one word, impressed. The putting green rolls consistently and provides a fast side(with the grain) and a slower side(against the grain). You can actually feel the grain When you rub your hand back and forth. The bottom part of the mat is made of a foam-like material and measures about 3/4 inch. The top part feels like felt and not shaggy. At first glance, you wonder whether or not there would be a durability issue. But I could attest that’s not the case. the mat is very stable, does not roll up for warp around the edges, and lies flat on the floor. It doesn’t budge.I wouldn’t, however, let my pet cat or dog run on it because their nails may dig deep enough indent the foam. Nor would i practice with spiked golf shoes for the same reason. I bought the 4x10 version with one hole on each side. I find it large enough to practice long putts, short ones and wide enough to even practice across the grain putts. After unrolling it when it arrived, I noticed a blemish at the centre of the green ( see picture.] I contacted their after services department and they were quick to act. The blemish did not affect playability but it was an eyesore of sorts. they were ready to replace the entire green but after a few days the foam like material seemed to auto-repair and the blemish went away.( weird but true) anyway, I am very happy with the product and I would highly recommend it for anyone who is looking for a realistic type indoor putting green. if you research yourself, you will notice that their products always rank somewhere around top 3.and I think you get good value for the price. As to putting better well, we’ll see! LO L
  3. Black Friday has come and gone and here’s the damage 1- 4x10 putting green from birdieball.com @ 20% off 2-Adidas ZG23 shoes at a steal for $99 CDN$ Lastly, and more personally I finally sent my old Teryllium Two Newport Tei3 to Scotty’s custom shop for a complete refurb including personalized face stamps, leather cover head, the whole 9 yards. I’ve been battling lymphoma and have been doing all sorts treatments for close to 2 years. The latest batch of drugs seem to be working (knock on wood) so, I thought I’d treat myself. I’ll post pics soon as I get it.
  4. I caved. Just couldn’t resist. I got it for $255, still in the wrapper.
  5. Most of these so-called fitters haven’t a clue what they’re doing. Invest in golf instruction instead.
