CLenahan got a reaction from RockerFCC in BOA vs. LACES
The thing with BOA is that they disperse the pressure from the lacing system a lot more efficiently that a standard lace system. What I have found across fitting a lot of people is that you don’t see any more slip or movement in the footwear with BOA vs laces. In theory, you could reach a limit in how much line you can take in, but if you are hitting it, the shoes you are wearing are more than likely too big (a common problem in general in the US).

Now, when we talk about FEEL, that’s a totally different story. Some people prefer the feel of cranked down laces on their instep/metatarsal areas. This is really hard to achieve with BOA, and it’s not really detrimental to the end user unless they are diabetic or it causes blisters. At the end of the day, it’s all about what feels good to you. Just my insight from a shoe guy.

Volcom Frickin Modern Chino's have been my go to pant for a while.  I have issues with a lot of the modern pants because I have "popeye" calves (in the words of my sister's kids) and these actually fit without strangling my leg or making everything north of my knee look like it's in a muumuu.

Have a Titleist Hybrid 14 and love it.  I think I would have trouble with less than a 14 way just because I like to have everything in it's place and know at a glance where everything is.
Occasionally a playing partner will pick up a wedge or something greenside and put it back in the wrong spot, and I absolutely have to fix it before the next hole.

I'm a 14 way fan. But they have to be done right. You need full length dividers for each slot. You need an oversize putter slot and a decent cooler compartment.
The Cobra bag I received during the Cobra Challenge would be perfect if it had full length dividers for each slot. But I'm living with it because everything else is very good.
I also have the Bag Boy Chiller. Everything is really good except it is just too large for my Club Glove Pro travel bag.
I have a MotoCaddy 14 way but the club slots are too tight. Spacing is tight and it is difficult to get the clubs in and out and it does not have a cooler pocket.
I've tried several other bags that did not have 14 way top and I found that my clubs always got tangled. Tacky mid size grips need to be separated.

Tomorrow I have scheduled a full first impressions in terms of feel and performance as well as more photos!

    Stay tuned!

Also if we do not find a EU tester for the Arthur 2.0 the intention will be to bring it to the states in May and potentially have it as a giveaway for the outing ... need to get some more people active in this thread first!

Adding Yoga once a week has been one of the best things I have done for my workout regimen.  Having more flexibility is great for my swing, reduces pain from sitting in a chair at the office, and it does a great job building your stabilizing muscles that get neglected otherwise in my experience.
    Good Luck!

One of the best golf books out there. For those too lazy or no time to read there is a podcast on the golfers journal where he chronicles much if the journey and the why .

    Good Morning All!
Finally felt good enough to get a morning workout in again, felt great after the better part of a month off.  29 degrees and busy today, hoping for golf this week may have been ambitious between weather and getting things running for the new year.  We will see.
    Have a great day!
