  1. @William PYou too my brother!!!! Boca Grande, The 7 mile bridge and Key West Harbor are home to the giants!!!
  2. Well said!! As every manufacturer has different guidelines for "stiff" and "reg" but like you said the weight and kickpoints in the shafts vary massively! Some want the flex in the butt of the club others mid or tip I do not understand how anyone could read reviews on a driver and just buy it online without ever hitting it??? So important to get fitted for every club in the bag
  3. It's just like buying from Ebay you PayPal and they ship it to you it doesn't matter where you live?? I buy stuff from all over the US off Marketplace
  4. They are on Marketplace in the Traverse City to Grand Rapids Michigan range
  5. I have several boats I run whether inshore or offshore. Iam not "chartering" so to speak right now as I took a job as a Captain of a large custom sportfish that travels alot and fishes tourneys but I take buddies and such inshore fishing on the house and Spies fit that bill I would ask in Lieu of paying you send a donation to St Jude
  6. Funny how those accidents happen!! I wasn't thinking when I pasted the photos up as those "tools" are a sensitive subject these days and they are removed
  7. I can take you anytime you want if it's Tarpon you want. Spies are on the house if it's inshore fishing and actually some of the funnest is the salt ponds on the golf course (my yard) there are tons of 10 to 30 pound Juveniles living in the ponds and a #5 fly rod is a riot
  8. Iam a big Bluewater tournament guy and also a charter capt I run a private boat out of Key West now but yepper Poons are fun and once you hear the gill plates rattle you will never forget it. The boat in the pic was a 46.6 Bertram I ran for a few years as a busy charter boat. That's my ugly mug next to the beautiful gal on the mag cover
  9. Why the G410 when you can steal this G425 LST ??? You asketh you recieveth
  10. Instant jail in the Keys for shooting anything more than a BB gun and I live on the course nobody is letting anyone do anything it just so happens maybe a few go away every morning and I have tried them as the Cubans eat them and I typically like their food but didn't care for the lizard. Love Gator but pass on the Liz. My rifle is dead quiet or I wouldn't think of it. That Rossi is a nice gun. I have a massive collection of Putters, guns and watches I'm a little tweaked that way
  11. If I played Titleist I would buy this as a spare with a headcover for 120??? Bet they would take 100 and I would grab it and ship it if they didn't want to
  12. Good morning Spies it's Saturday at 0450am and the coffee is on and iam sitting on my deck staring thru a nightscope on an Iguana kill mission. I am not into killing things just to kill them but these things are destructive as all heck and destroy the golf course so I have a sweet suppressed .22 mag with a starlight scope and it's my morning mission then tee time at 8am. Have a great one!!!! The price point is decent as well for the quality that he produces!! I enjoy his and Cafe Cubano as well as Good Harbor Roasters
  13. I thought they looked great and I was hitting balls at a buddies shop and he has a green at 100 yds and came out and handed me one. The feel was great and I could absolutely rip stop a shot on demand or let it release and they are pleasing to the eye at address and that's big for me
  14. Well I have been playing with Vokeys and replacing them every two years for about 13 or 14 years now and currently have SM9. in 48 52 56 and 60 but today i made the mistake of hitting the new S159 Ping wedges and i will be switching in the fall of 2024. They are phenomenal in feel and workability and they are sexy as heck to boot!! Bravo PING
  15. Didn't want to say much and offend anyone but the G410 was not a great offering from them and they did better with the G425 and killed it with the G430 MAX 10K I Use the G410 4,5 and 6 iron and they are decent but didn't like the driver
  16. You will without question HATE the sound but I'm sure you will enjoy the results. Titleist in my opinion has always made beautiful sounding drivers. I found them to never be anywhere close to the distance of other makers but they always looked great and sounded sweet. As of a couple years ago when they came out with the TS line they are now at the top of the heap in all depts (minus the warranty it seems) but hearing the Ping when used to a Titleist will be tough but PING FINALLY listened and they nailed all the boxes with G430 MAX 10K
  17. But what people fail to understand is when you are a National Champion and a good Michigan Man you can do these things and do them well!!! It's a fine day to be a Wolverine!!
  18. The price point is decent as well for the quality that he produces!! I enjoy his and Cafe Cubano as well as Good Harbor Roasters
  19. This is the problem I have had with almost every ball they make, they feel like I'm hitting a marshmallow!!! I cannot stand a soft feeling with driver. I prefer the smash of ProV1 or XV and the reason my putters have a soft mill is to feel the "click" not the mush. I think it boils down to preference as the data suggests the ball speed and distance is on par or better than the popular offerings. Iam going to try them as soon as I find a wayward one but can tell by what I'm hearing they are not for me!! Thanks!!!!
  20. They said had he not had two Policemen for a security detail things could have gotten out of hand. A woman actually pushed her way thru the 50 to 60 people gathered around him and physically put a hat in his hand demanding he sign it which is not allowed but regardless a 15 yr old needing a security detail is a heavy load anyway. This crowd realized there were no ropes so they just came on the course and literally stood next to him and told the marshal off and berated him when he asked them to get off the course. Along with all that Lost Lake is one of my favorite but it is super tight and has alot of layups due to sharp doglegs and is not an easy track by any means. Charlie is a +3 according to Florida High School athletics and the Tour asks that players be a +2 or better to play consistently. Kid is going to be good for sure but take a 12 on a hole and it's hard to right that ship
  21. There are two totally different putting strokes one that as you say rotates a bit on an arc and a straight path thus the reason for toe hang and such iam more of a straight path but this reminded me of my buddy who was convinced he could buy the game of golf but we all know how that works out. He is actually a decent putter and has the arc like you do BUT he bought this crazy putting aid that you actually put your putter in and close the lid and it supposedly shows you takeaway to follow thru BUT it's a straight line so he spends hours on the thing and we go to the course and he has his flowneck Newport (which is absolutely an arc style putter) and he is missing putts by four feet and getting madder and madder every hole (I couldn't stop laughing it was so funny because I could clearly see what was happening) by the time I pulled into his driveway he was fuming mad and jumped out of my truck ran in the garage and threw the entire putting aide setup in his pond only after it sank did I have the heart to tell him he was training for one thing and doing another. So I saw a DIY where you stand on a sheet of plywood or similar and tape a pencil to your putter and take a couple strokes and that shows your arc. You then get a small thin piece of trim that will bend like foam core or such and nail it to your arc, now you have an edge to guide the back of your putter and this helps you perfect your arc
  22. Is there anything finer than a calm morning with an absolute killer espresso??? Its among my favorite things in the world and I was turned onto this after only drinking D'maglia Italiana for years. This stuff is the deal and it's cheaper!! It won the grand prize in Miami and that is a serious Espresso (Bucci) city with all the Italians and Cubanos sort of has a nutty, chocolate type finish its really nice
