Yep I've seen those but unfortunately they don't come full of ProV1's or I would buy the buckets. Iam totally fine with the 16 bucks a dozen im paying and have yet to find a bad one.

Tom I see you are from NC, Iam in the process of getting rid of the two homes and moving to NC so not sure where you are but I have a question, If I lived in the Wilmington area how many months a year will the courses be open and if they shut down how long does the shutdown last??? No clue what winter is like there??

I have bought memberships for several years in Key West but for only a couple reasons I live on the course and like to help them out by buying and the bigger reason...it's the only course within 90 miles that is public now up at my summer place I would never buy even a seasonal because I would then feel obligated to play there alot to get my money's worth bit with fifty golf courses that are great I prefer to play all over the place rather than be "tied" to a track. The memberships have pros and cons and work great in some places and not in others

I didn't add that when a 10 plays a scratch player for $$ it can be a big advantage so yes indeed iam trying to win while getting lessons

Iam hoping one of the testers will take the Tour ball to a bunker and hit 20 shots with it to see what it does to the ball. I always found that to be a good Guage of durability. I found one of the tour balls at my friend's golf shop and had great numbers with it in the GC Quad bay

So the only reason I know this is a couple nights ago well actually morning I guess as it was super late some goofy infomercial was on with a "swimspa" it was above ground and looked to be about 12ft long and maybe 4ft wide and it instead of having jets going every which way like a jacuzzi has all the water pushing from one of the 4ft wide ends so you can swim the crawl stroke and not go anywhere if you can envision a swimming treadmill??? You apparently also have the option of switching the water to the multiple jets creating the jacuzzi effect. Good idea I guess not sure where you put it as water must surely fly out of the thing. Looked to be about 4ft deep

Up in NW Lower Michigan there are literally a hundred courses and most are damn nice they are mostly still in that 55 to 80 range and I feel that is a result of competition between tracks trying to stay busy. Now with that being said pre Covid they were 40 to 75 so they are going up but with so many places to play only the true gems dare go over 100 or they will sit empty. The Arnold Palmer designed "Manitou Passage" GC for instance is a damn fine place but not "Big League" do this is an example of the 75 dollar tracks we have to play. I will take them all day long!!

I carry two 4 irons so my bag only has Driver and 3 wood I get asked all the time why?? They stop asking if we play together! I play with alot of guys in their fifties and sixties and they want to play blue or white tees and so most par 4s are only in the 400yd max range. If I hit driver on most I face shots of 60 to 100 yds in and that is no good to me. I want a full swing on my approach do the strong 4 to me is the ultimate play. I hit it roughly 240 so that leaves me with great yardage 100 to 160 range to the pin. I am very accurate with it and by adding it I get a ton of questions just like you and I hit a ton of greens with good full swings into the green. It has taken me from a 13 a year and a half ago to a 10 and I should easily see 8 by fall. I will gladly answer all their questions but would prefer to just show them!!

Absolutely in my opinion the most important part of any club

I have a little drill I do in my head sort of a pre shot routine if you will and it helps slow you down and focus. I will hit a shot and watch it until it lands and is done then I back up off the mat and point my club down the target line visualizing where I want to start the ball it takes about 15 secs or so then I slowly get another ball and tee it or not depending on what I'm hitting step behind it again pointing down the line and I take 5 really deep breaths and when I blow out the last I step to address and let it go repeat!!! Anything that works some guys I know where Airpods and have "range music? Not my thing but whatever works as you said to keep yourself from speeding thru a worthless session.

The shaft market is exploding and they really have something for everyone. Have you seen these??? For a cool $484 dollar upgrade your driver can have one!! Or they can shaft your irons for like 1500 no biggie right???

They made a set of G10 in their game improvement line but they had a 10 iron??? That's odd because that set came with a PW

I so agree with this!!!! I know so many guys that purposely play guys with much higher hdcp's just so they can "win" I try to play with guys that are much better than me as I learn alot more and it forces my competitive nature to play better/smarter. Nothing better than playing with guys that make it look effortless thanks to these guys my swing no longer looks like an Octopus falling out of a tree!!

If I had a reason to I would probably try a bit harder but I have hit hundreds of balls with several models and the one thing I couldnt get how I liked was my dispersion was all over the place so for now if I can hit my irons well there is no reason for me to switch. Maybe someday

So true!! The strong 4 iron I carry had a C Taper lite in it and it was no good for me I put a Nippon Modus 120 in it and I hardly ever miss. It seems the lower the loft in these irons the more the shaft has to be ideal for the swing.

That would most definitely be the answer if I ever wanted to change what I have going. Really hitting my current setup well and don't see making a move anytime soon but we all know that it takes a couple bad weeks and its back to the drawing board. The driver at 285 then 3 wood at 265-270 strong 4 iron 240 then reg 4 iron 225 on down the line. It's working for now

Not sure all I know is I take divots and can't hit them at all and my buddy sweeps it and hits a beautiful ball. ???? Not sure

Yeah funny for me I couldn't hit one of those PING Crossovers to save my life but a regular super game improvement iron is my jam!! I probably hit near 90% of fairways with that strong lofted Cobra Rad Speed 4 iron which is an insane 19° iron but the Crossovers uuum no and iam a PING fan

Looked so fun though!! I have played in a few "glowball" scrambles but a lighted track would be so much more fun!! Those glow balls are horrible to hit!

I tried and tried to hit hybrids but I think because my attack angle is too steep they just don't work for me as they are a not a divot club I believe that what took me to the Super Game Improvement 4 iron and regular game improvement 5 and 6 irons. My buddy is more of a "sweeper" and he is deadly with Hybrids and carries 3 of them

I watched a Rick Shiels video from that place and man it looked fantastic and as a matter of fact I believe one of the courses there have lighting and can be played at night?? Having traveled all over the world extensively that is about the only place I've not gone and it's on my list for sure!!!!

So PING is going all in with their recent success on the Tour and while they always had putters and wedges this year is a mind blower at how sweet the stuff looks!!! They got me to buy a driver this year and now this lifelong Vokey guy is curious??? 25 options for loft lie and grind and designed to compliment the Blue Print irons these wedges are already winning on tour and iam going to go hit some as they already have me with looks!!! The S159 wedge line to compliment the Putters
