  1. Just doing a little check in post “honeymoon” phase.. these clubs are so good! So glad they found a permanent home (in my bag).
  2. Just wanted to reiterate how awesome this opportunity was. Thank you to MGS and Takomo for helping elevate my game!
  3. Let's goooooo!!!! 1. What will the Cut Number Will Be: +1 2. What will the scoring average be for the entire field on the Final Round Sunday: 68
  4. Played a round at the simulator last night.. My driver is slowly getting back into my trust circle, but the 3 wood came to play last night. I didn't have any long fairway shots into par 5's but off the tee, that club was unstoppable. After making some adjustments to the club, I think I have found the secret combination that works for me. These clubs are really fun to use and I LOVE the feel and sound they have when hitting the ball.
  5. Did some testing in the simulator last night.. my goal was to have my 5 wood not roll out so much, so I played with adding a heavier weight in the rear of the head and adjusting loft. Playing with the weights was very cool since the only "adjusting" i've been able to do is the hosel on my driver. I didn't like the feeling with the heavier weight (25g) so I switched back to the 20g. Morale of the story, I got more height on both my 3 and 5 wood. I still would like to tinker with things, but the fact that these clubs have that option.. SO COOL!
  6. I played 18 on Saturday.. The driver is not being very consistent lately so after 4 holes I switched to playing my 3 wood off the tee.. These woods are just so easy to swing. I am going to the simulator tonight so I will be making some adjustments on both the 3 and 5 wood. I'm hoping to get a little more height with my 5 wood so it doesn't roll out as much.
  7. I go down there a couple times each year, mostly in the colder months. Golf is absolutely pure! Some of the top courses that are public are green springs, copper rock, the ledges and sand hollow!
  8. I'm headed down to the bottom (South) of Utah, St. George for a little family trip. This city is a golfers paradise with some of the best desert golf! I'm playing at the Ledges, so I will for sure be playing my trusty woods off the tee as much as possible!
  9. I'm on the same side as @GolfSpy SAM... the 3 wood and 5 wood are absolutely going in my bag. They look great and are really easy to swing.
  10. I've used the 5 wood more from the fairway and some rough more than the 3 wood because I get a higher launch and can stop it easier than the 3 wood. That being said, I haven't had any issues with consistency. I seem like a major fanboy, but the 5 wood has easily become my favorite club.
  11. I got out to play a round yesterday.. On every Par 4, I used either the 3 wood or 5 wood off the T. Both clubs perform as I need them to. Something that I really noticed was the feeling and sound that is made when hitting the ball. I am not a fan of hollow sounding clubs that have a "ting" sound to it, so these sound SO good to me. I hear a lower tone "crushing" sound when I hit the ball... maybe it's just me, but it doesn't sound like a cheap club and I like that a lot.
  12. Well.. I will be off the grid for the week to build the family cabin, but I'll leave you with a little update. This 5 wood has become my best friend . I get very consistent numbers with the 3 and 5 wood. I haven't made any adjustments on the sleeve, just put it on neutral. This next week I will mess around with the adjustability.
  13. I would love to see Broomstick putting to be put to the test. I would also volunteer as tribute to be a tester
  14. Well.. I played Pinehurst on the simulator last night, that course is NO joke! The landing points on the fairways for driver get really narrow, so I put the 3 wood and 5 wood to the test. I only missed 1 fairway and that was purely user error. My driver is currently going through some trust issues at the moment, but luckily I have absolute confidence when swinging these clubs. I had my fair share of mishits with these clubs and i can feel the feedback but the result is still great! Off center hits don't have too big off a performance drop off like I thought they would. These woods are changing my game!
