  1. This grip is legit! I used it for quite a while and had good success with it.
  2. I've built shafts for one of the competitors out there and he's using the same flex I play. I swing around 100mph and he swings around 150mph... The only reason he isn't using the ladies or senior flex is he likes it to feel just a touch stiffer than what most guys out there are using. He also said that the lighter and softer shafts are much easier on the body for the amount of swings they do and the speeds they produce. The days of XXX flex are long gone.
  3. Ahh OK, now I know. That looks like the driver that came with the 10pc box set that Callaway released in 2016. https://youtu.be/3PV2Btr70pg?si=Zgy97O9nS64wLUWe
  4. Usually, back in the day, when companies did a plus model, it meant the head was above the CT limit and was non conforming. I didn't find any X2 Hot+ drivers on the USGA conforming list so maybe that's it? A picture would help too.
  5. I have the OG Autoflex in 505x and got the 505x again in the Dream 7 shaft. The D7 feels firmer during the hit and the tip section is stiffer than the OG. The dream 7 in the 505x feels more like the OG in the 505xx flex. Flight is lower for the D7 and I don't have to loft down quite as much. Overall I feel like the D7 is straighter and wants to be hit hard.
  6. My favorite choice so far has also been the Accra FX 3.0 140 in the M1 flex. I've got one of the new Autoflex Dream 7 shafts and honestly am almost preferring the Accra shaft more.
  7. Some sort of Ping B60 design replica but no idea on the manufacturer.
  8. I've got so many iron sets that it all depends on the loft of the set. I enjoy playing older iron designs where the 7 iron is the loft of today's average 8 iron.
  9. Could possibly say that Wilson Carbon > Ping G430 Max 10K??
  10. There is definitely some thought that has to be done to get it right. The 7 iron head weighs 269g so that's the weight you need to shoot for on each clubhead. I took the weight screws out and weighed them to know how much weight they added in total. The plastic screws weigh less than 1g total and are essentially there to fill the holes. I ended up making the PW about 1/4" shorter just to get the swingweight right and had to add a shaft tip weight to the 4 iron to get enough total weight even with the heavier screws. The lie angle was easy and the most I had to bend was 1.5* to get them all to 62*. Since they are forged they moved really easily. I moved a few lofts to get the gaps I wanted. 4 - 37.25" 62* 22.5* D2 5 - 37.25" 62* 26* D2 6 - 37.25" 62* 29.5* D2 7 - 37.25" 62* 33* D2 8 - 37.25" 62* 37* D2 9 - 37.25" 62* 41* D2 P - 37" 62* 45* D3
  11. They come from Logical One Golf and they aren't designed to be single length. You're correct, the plastic screws were to remove all the weight from the 9 and PW. I used heavier screws in the longer irons like the 4 and 5 to get the weight heavier. Then I adjusted the lofts and lie angles to be correct.
  12. Steadfast is such a shady company I wouldn't give them a dime personally.
  13. A lot of times yes but some use different lofts for men's and ladies heads.
  14. Nice single length build that I did. I 3D printed plastic weight screws for the heavier irons (PW and 9).
  15. What I'm saying is that there will be zero bad shafts that make it out on to a tour truck because they've all been inspected. The retail shafts aren't inspected that tightly which is why Titleist has to inspect them and send them back if they're bad. For the regular person ordering shafts, we don't get the further inspected shafts.
  16. Keep in mind the shafts that go out on tour are picked for consistency and measured to the nth degree. The retail shafts don't go through the same levels of consistency and quality controls. Of all the shaft brands, I see more bent tips on kbs shafts than any other brand, especially when it comes to people that swing hard.
  17. Anyone have an actual bend profile for this shaft yet?
  18. Let us know how it goes and what you think if you get to try it
  19. I know PGASS has Mizuno drivers here in NC. I feel like if you can't find a place to hit one around Orlando FL then you won't find it anywhere!
