  1. I am so glad that school is over for me....
  2. I have played the NV for years, and still Game the Pink NV in my fairway wood. I just am not a fan of the VooDoo. For whatever reason, I cannot make a repeating swing with this shaft. I have tried it in every possible flex and head, and nothing works... for me. I thought I would love this shaft, but i was wrong.
  3. when testing balls, I always tell customers to take a sleeve of 2 different balls to the course and hit them on a hole when it is not busy. Hit 6 tee shots, 6 approach shots, 6 pitch shots, 6 chips, and 6 putts. You should have a really good idea after that...
  4. I only played about 2 full wedge shots all day, but I felt that the durabillity was outstanding. Couldn't see any visible scuffs.
  5. I was lucky enough to play today at Chambers Bay, site of the 2010 US Am, and 2015 US Open. The weather was perfect, winds 5-15 mph, and temps in the 60's. This was my 2nd round out here. I shot my normal, boring 83. There is a temp green on of the par 5's, so par was 71. Card read 46-37. I came alive on the back. Finished birdie birdie. 18 is a 541 par 5, and I hit driver, 19* hybrid to pin high. Two putt bird. Makes me want to play a lot more.
  6. I think that you would like the feel of the SVS6 more than the RVS6. VooDoo and BlueBoard are very similar in feel, so a Stiff BB would lead me to say SVS6. On a personal note, I hate the VooDoo. I have Never liked any club with that shaft in it. But, different strokes to different folks.
  7. This seems like a good question for another thread... I hate to hijack the What do I do for a Living thread...
  8. I like the way that sounds..... I have spent some time with one of the tour reps, a very cool fella, and it seems like Adams is just Doing it right.
  9. I really think that is all that you can do. Keep grinding and hope to find it in there one day.
  10. Plano TX... Home of Adams Golf. You should be able to find some SICK golf clubs floating around there.
  11. nice to hear. not about the funeral, but that the golf swing is coming back.
  12. Very true. I have been there, and love the store. Morton's do a great job.
  13. The Process is what concerns me. I know plenty of kids who should not have gone to college, and plenty that should have. (myself included). How do you delineate between the two tracks??
  14. always a good idea to have someone look at you if you feel it going sideways. It could very well be something very simple, like an alignment error...
  15. Sounds like a tough one to diagnose without seeing you in person. I know this sounds lame, but there are sooooo many thins that could be taking place, that I would hate to ruin your game with the wrong info. FWIW, the Burners are 1/2 inch over standard to begin with, so -1/2 in length is not a lot. If you are moving alot closer to the ball, try gripping up on the club another 1/2 to 3/4 of an inch and see if your face impact improves. If that is the case, I'm sure that you will be digging the toe of your clubs into the ground, and need a lie angle adjustment. I hope that this helps more than it harms... unless we are playing for $$$$
  16. when you are hitting the face of the club on the toe, the ball should hook if you are releasing the club properly. Standing closer to the ball will encourage the sole of the club to contact the ground TOE first. This should cause the ball to go right. Bending the club upright will only exacerbate the hooking flight. It sounds like you are coming across the ball from out to in with a closed clubface, a recipe for the lefts. How tall are you?
  17. I might beg to differ there... It kind of depends on how you measure "Largest".
  18. thanks INGUNCH PLUGDLIE 225 BS (jamie sadlowski) i really reaching here...
  19. Truly a bit twisted
