  1. I've read a handful of posts about clicgear unfolding and folding. I have the Clicgear 3.5 and found this youtube video to be really helpful. So easy! I assume the same tips work for the 4.0
  2. I use my stand bag on my Clicgear push cart and don't really have any issues with it. In doing my research for pushcarts I found that Sun Mountain and Clicgear have some similarities and their accessories can be used on both brands. Here is my set up.
  3. Since we're talking about golf fashion in some aspects, what'd y'all think of Billy Horschel's sweater on Sunday? I felt like it was a nice homage to the Arnold Palmer era
  4. I was on a mission to find a good sun hat this summer to protect my face and ears. I have long hair so finding something that had space for a pony tail was key for me. I happened to find two options that were described as Fedora with pony tail port. The one I ordered has a brim a bit larger than I think of when I think Fedora, but it's still a good fit and really easy to wear while I play a round of golf. I think the next time I buy a Fedora I'll get the Wallaroo Gabi https://wallaroohats.com/products/gabi?gad_source=1&gbraid=0AAAAADN5jIHBx8jf_JVDxYE8XvlHU3yQ-&gclid=CjwKCAjwhvi0BhA4EiwAX25uj_X_SJwghirNbhoXkhgOiHNjOVBmbNjDzUD-mh81VDziOR0KSTAc2xoCGK8QAvD_BwE&gclsrc=aw.ds
  5. Reading through this entire thread, it looks like most people are saying, "depends" Let's face it, some shirts look better untucked and some body types look better untucked. Others look better tucked. As long as I don't look like a slob, I'm good either way. But as I said above, I think women have it easier because most of our golf outfits are designed to be untucked. As for the talk about loose clothing in hot temperatures, when we golf in 100º+ temperatures, (going tomorrow with predicted temps of 102º) I like to wear a golf dress I got from Puma. The air flow is really nice. When it comes to women's golf dresses, the real controversial question is, should we wear the provided liners or go commando? (that's a whole different topic)
  6. We have a thread on this same topic over on SkiTalk in the summer golf section. https://www.skitalk.com/threads/shirt-tucked-in.34599/ I do believe women have it a whole lot easier than guys. Our proper golf attire does not require tucking. On a hot summer day I'd have a really hard time keeping things tucked because I like the air flow.
  7. Nice topic and something I will steal for my own website and have fun with it. I have only had two sets of clubs in my short golf life. I have to say, my favorite club is the Cobra Aerojet Max Driver The first time I hit a ball with this driver, I knew we'd be friends for a long time. I rarely have a mishit with this driver and feel confident every time I approach a tee box with it.
  8. Another feature I forgot to mention that I really like is that my bag is easy to wipe clean so it doesn't get dingey looking. My old bag was an Ogio that I liked a lot but the light grey areas started looking worn and dirty and really couldn't be cleaned
  9. My golf bag has detachable straps. Its the Puma Anrold Palmer LE bag from last year made by Vessel. I like taking the straps off so they're not in the way of strapping onto my pushcart or on a golf cart. But, I also like having the straps when I'm just going to the driving range or chipping facility
  10. As you noted, we all enjoy golf differently. I appreciate your candidness in this, I just can't imagine feeling hurried on a 4 hr round of golf. Where I have had a hard time finding a balance is when things are backed up in front of us, and I start feeling pressure from behind, I'll start feeling rushed, but my husband @Philpug will settle me down and say, "We can't go anywhere, take a breath and don't rush yourself" In some cases, the reason we're getting backed up is from young guns in front of us who think they can shoot from the tips but can't get it past the women's tees. I guess my point is, feeling rushed isn't a good feeling. The only time I've felt rushed is when someone in front of us has things backed up. If the course marshall is doing a good job, he/she will nudge the slow players to move along.
  11. This.... Time intervals can make a big difference. I experienced this at a course that goes out at 10 minute intervals and thought it was quite pleasant be cause we didn't have to wait at all for the crew in front of us. It wasn't until I got back to my home course where they go out at 8 minute intervals that I realized just how bit the difference 2 minutes can make.
  12. I was at a nemesis hole and a bird was chirping at me while I was lining up for my shot. It wasn't a Mocking Bird, but I felt like it was a mocking bird. I have some time to go in this crazy game for me to slay some of these mocking holes.
  13. There are courses out here in the mountains that I won't walk. But there are also some walk friendly places. On our local course where we walk 100% of the time is nicely walkable with pushcarts but there are two hills that feel a little rough depending on how hot it is. We are in the middle of a bit of a heat wave here, 100º forecasted today, but it was only 98º. When we were done, we were at our car taking our shoes off to put sandals on and the group that was in carts behind us stopped to chat in the parking lot a minute. They were complimenting us on our pace of play and fortitude to walk in the heat..... but its a dry heat Keeps me humble.
  14. I agree. We've walked 13 times this year with pushcarts. We go to our own ball, I've taken charge of my own game because I don't get input from my husband if I'm away from him with my cart/ball, and my own course management is much better. To top it off, I've lost 4 lbs.
