  1. Was it 1” tip trim based on OEM instructions and then. Butt cut to desired length?
  2. It is probably based on Neilson type ratings. Selected people document what they watch and how much time they spent watching.
  3. I’ll agree with this post. With the rise YouTube golf channels I think people are getting more enjoyment watching the influencers play golf than the pros. I think the article MGS did recently is spot on. https://mygolfspy.com/news-opinion/the-rise-of-youtube-golf-why-is-on-demand-golf-so-popular/
  4. Scottie is possibly a generational type player and currently there isn’t anyone close especially when looking at consistency and play from tee to green. His putting is a bit better and if it continues to improve there will be possibly more separation. Looking down the list I think the only player that could pass him is Aberg. Most of the others are established top OWGR players and really aren’t challenging. Aberg made some mental mistakes coming down the stretch of the Masters and if he can develop the mental game Scottie has he will be the next number one.
  5. Hitting a tru e 3 wood isn’t easy. Many people go to 4 wood (16.5*) because the loft and shorter shaft make it a little easier to hit.
  6. I am with @RickyBobby_PR; learn to hit the ball low with different clubs. Recovery shots are shots intended to get me back in position and are not hero shots. You other option is to put different clubs in your back, but you will, still need to learn how to hit the low punch out type of shot.
  7. It takes a little while, just try to add it as part of your preshot routine. I Tagged the club when I was standing behind the ball
  8. Last night was league night. Gorgeous evening with temps in the 60s. My handicap for this course is a 3. Started off poorly and snapped hooked first tee shot OB and ended up with a triple to begin the round. Approach shot on my second hole caught a branch and knocked the ball down; burned the edge on the par putt to bogey the hole. Was able to turn it around after that and finished the remaining 7 holes at even par with a birdie and bogey. Tee shots were a weakness; I only hit 1 fairway and that was with an iron. Short game was probably the best it has been in a long time and it was needed since I only hit 4 greens. Putting was good with 15 putts and based on strokes gained was 0.10 strokes better than a PGA pro.
  9. I wanted to provide an ongoing update to the review. I am back to being able to play golf after my surgery in January. I have played 2 league matches since starting back and the MC 3 stripe is in the bag. The greens had been recently aerated during my first match so I didn’t track strokes gained but felt like I putted pretty well. I did track during my second match and had 15 putts and gained 0.10 strokes against a PGA professional level. I really didn’t hit a bad putt and the missed putts were starting online and burning the edges. The putter definitely fits my stroke and the alignment lines help me aim where I want to start the ball. Dedicated practice has also been a benefit to my putting since that was one of the only things I could do in February and March.
  10. Hard to say. There are other factors that will contribute such as head weight and total weight. If all things are equal the additional 7* will make the putter want to stay a little more open to the path. There will be other schools of thought that will say it makes zero difference.
  11. IMO, comes down to the mental game. All the PGA players have exceptional talent but the mental course management mistakes are where they tend to falter. Morikawa and a few others in their post round interview said they got too aggressive and tried to force things. I think Scheffler is just able to maintain the same mental presence no matter where he is on the leaderboard and continue to play a fundamentally sound course management strategy.
  12. MO, has nothing to do with golf but more the current state of society as a whole.
  13. I was joking and know @GolfSpy BOSis coming a long distance. I don’t know if it matters but the range balls at Kingsmill are limited flight.
  14. Sure. The only purpose is to prevent the constant rubbing of the cart strap on the bag. The Ghost strap cover is neoprene
  15. It is already plural. (used in direct address usually to two or more people, or to one person who represents a family, organization, etc.): Are y’all coming home for the holidays this year? Y’all let me know when you want those coffees warmed up.If we get there before you, we’ll try to save y’all a seat.
  16. With all things equal the rollout will be equal. Balls hit don’t have forward spin until they have interaction with the ground. generalizing a draw will have a little less spin than a fade so it will roll out farther. all things are not equal when you hit shots. You need to factor in spin, descent angle, path, etc.
  17. I use a push cart and ride depending on where I play. That said, a few of the courses I play have a long walk from the parking lot to the range/clubhouse so it will be carried some. This is an interesting dynamic with premium bags. They charge you a premium price yet there is a recommended additional purchase if you ride in a cart. There are also situations at higher end clubs where the bags are loaded by attendants which means you have to unstrap the bag and then put on the protector.
  18. Most wanted testing day today so I got in a little practice time. Pitching/chipping seems to be coming along but full swing is not great. Not sure if it is just rust or compensations and/or apprehension to avoid potentially hurting myself. Thinking I need to take a couple of lessons to work on some fundamentals.
  19. Why do you think it is easier than the h4? I thought the H4 was extremely easy to use.
  20. Keep monitoring you BP, if it is really caused by something else you don’t want it to go too low.
  21. There is no official conforming list, but that putter should still be allowed for USGA and R&A tournaments
  22. When I first was diagnosed with HPB, I had no history but it was extremely elevated. If they don’t want to do meds, there should at least be a series of follow-ups to assess if it is better after the vertigo and allergies have cleared up.
  23. It is both the distance and number of shots as well as lie. You are a distance from the hole which has a strokes gained number; the system calculates how you did for each shot. It will tell you how you did with each club as well so you can see how you perform with different clubs I would not worry about hitting extra clubs due to weather. as for your putting question, i believe it does strokes gained for the 30 footer and the 5 footer. Your putting stats are also driven by each distance. https://support.shotscope.com/hc/en-us/articles/360017684917-What-is-strokes-gained
