  1. 1. Hope your feeling better. 2. Interesting that you experienced that. MGS has talked about it for a few years and many have scoffed at the findings and said players won't noticed an off center core. 3. Why can't you cut the ball while watching the masters
  2. Definitely post some comparison numbers to show if it does or doesn't help with off center dispersion.
  3. Not creating very lofty goals. I guess sometimes we need to create goals that can be easily achieved.
  4. The static lie angle does not change since you aren’t bending the lie angle. Dynamic lie angle may change but that will depend on how you sole the club.
  5. From counterbalancing has been a thing for a long time. I was fit for a balanced certified weight in the 90s/early 00s. superstroke as you know makes weights as do other smaller companies like tour lock.
  6. https://datagolf.com/live-tournament-stats morikawa - 7 homa - 6 aberg - 2
  7. Ranked 36 out of 60 for the event.
  8. Yes; even used by players at the highest level of play. Google alignment stick drills and you will find lots of ways to use them.
  9. What handicap level are you comparing for your strokes gained? Did you track stroke gained prior to the Edel?
  10. You should really hit the club to see what works best, but it we go by general convention it could be in the 85-105gr range. Since it is most likely the next club after 3/4 fairway wood look at maybe 10-20 grams heavier.
  11. Kind of says the same thing the same MGS lab test showed. I think the key is that if your stock swing is not full out then the full out will be better. If you are full out with stock, you will start to get out of sync/balance. I was part of the MGS test and full out was best for me.
  12. Bridgestone and Callaway also have US ball plants.
  13. If you follow the theory that putters matter, counterbalancing a putter helps offset the weight of heavier heads, makes the putter more stable, and improves distance control. This approach will work for some players and not for others as each player has different feels and needs. We could also go with the theory that counterbalanced putters won on tour over the past year and as a result we as players a think that is what we need to putt better. LAB putters are not different from any other putter in what counterbalancing does.
  14. My opinion: Same reason they charge $100 to add or subtract an inch from their stock putter. Right or wrong, true or false, their goal as a company is to make money and convince people their product is special, unique, and worth the extra cost. They have shown up on the PGA tour and gotten some players crediting their LAB putter for getting the win. They have also gotten good reviews in golf forums. All of this translates to capitalize on the attention. I have tried every lab model and the putters are fine but for me they aren’t any better than other putter
  15. The masters committee has deemed it important for Tiger to make the cut so players have been instructed to play poorly to ensure that happens.
  16. Neither one is better or worse than the other. for me driver is primarily a fade and irons have a bit of draw. I play it becuase that is the ball flight that comes from my stock shot. I don’t try to curve the ball in different directions because going back to the first sentence there is no advantage to either.
  17. Additionally most have a web browser and you can simply go to the website and play the videos that way. I did that using my fire stick on Monday and Tuesday to watch the on the range converage.
  18. The putters are balanced to a specific lie angle. Most are done with the putter flat. The putters can also be balanced with the toe or heel in the air; that is the purpose of all the weights in the head.. The players are not manipulating the lie, they could and probably are maintaining the same lie throughout the stroke. Pretty sure I have read that LAB has even said a degree or so off isn’t that big of a deal. the other aspect is that players generally don’t understand equipment and don’t necessarily play the best equipment for their game. They almost always get their equipment for free so there is no upcharge. f you want my personal opinion, I don’t think L.A.B. putters are all that and the human based skills are significantly more important and can easily overcome the little bit of torque that the LAB putter is eliminating.
  19. I understand the words and the intent of bounce and grind, but haven’t tried them enough to see how they actually work. I also understand that how you deliver the club can completely change those variables. Likening it to putters, book knowledge will say you need face balanced for SBSTish stroke and toe hang for arcs, but in practical application this is not always true. My wedge game is poor and as a result I don’t manipulate my wedge much so I don’t see a lot of difference between the different grinds and bounces. the big thing that s that I don’t have a place to try the different configurations so all I have is book knowledge on the topic and little practical experience.
  20. How about it’s fine. There are players that play toe up and there are players that play heel up and there are players that play flat. Will Zalatoris is heel up with his MEZZ max. While flat would be “ideal”, I’d say it is more important to maintain that lie angle throughout the stroke. This could be a visual preference and how he prefers to see the top line
  21. What does I can’t be consistent mean? As a plus 2 you obviously hit the ball extremely well, probably better than 99+% of the people on the forum. What is your driver performance, what do you expect, and how to you track? Do you have launch monitor numbers to show swing and club dynamics. What did the pro level instructors say about your swing?
  22. You were even mentioned during the call
  23. this will be my third (fourth if you count the first MD tirp) )MGS forum outing so I 1000% agree that the trip is about camaraderie. The frustration is really all about @GolfSpy_APH, I can’t let him beat me.
  24. So you have a larger gap between your most loft wedge and putter and as you said don’t like having a huge gap in my bag. But you deal with and make it work because you have learned how to hit those distances. IMO, If The gap at the top end is a distance you run into regularly then maybe find a club otherwise just recognize you need to make an adjustment when you happen to be in that distance gap.
  25. Yes, companies capitalize on the buzz behind the masters, all the other majors, the Ryder cup, etc. to release limited edition products that as you pointed out cost more than the non limited edition versions. Most people view them as collectors items or something that they want to have to show off….the circle T on a Cameron putter is another example. The general goal of most companies is to make money; if you don’t like the price they are charging the simple answer is don’t buy it.
