  1. Most wanted testing day today so I got in a little practice time. Pitching/chipping seems to be coming along but full swing is not great. Not sure if it is just rust or compensations and/or apprehension to avoid potentially hurting myself. Thinking I need to take a couple of lessons to work on some fundamentals.
  2. Why do you think it is easier than the h4? I thought the H4 was extremely easy to use.
  3. Keep monitoring you BP, if it is really caused by something else you don’t want it to go too low.
  4. There is no official conforming list, but that putter should still be allowed for USGA and R&A tournaments
  5. When I first was diagnosed with HPB, I had no history but it was extremely elevated. If they don’t want to do meds, there should at least be a series of follow-ups to assess if it is better after the vertigo and allergies have cleared up.
  6. It is both the distance and number of shots as well as lie. You are a distance from the hole which has a strokes gained number; the system calculates how you did for each shot. It will tell you how you did with each club as well so you can see how you perform with different clubs I would not worry about hitting extra clubs due to weather. as for your putting question, i believe it does strokes gained for the 30 footer and the 5 footer. Your putting stats are also driven by each distance. https://support.shotscope.com/hc/en-us/articles/360017684917-What-is-strokes-gained
  7. sorry to hear the appointment was frustrating. Hope you have a follow-up and this gets figured out.
  8. Depends on the instructor and if you are doing single or bulk lessons. In person 1 lesson is around $75 and you can get 5 for $300. You can go on platforms like skillest and pay $30 to $3000.
  9. If you like the midsize grip and feel it perform better switch to a midsize grip. Midsize grips are typically heavier and will reduce the swingweight of your club. JumboMax may not; depending on model, some are lighter than standard grips. Basically, to lower swingweight you need a grip that weighs more than your current grip.
  10. why 3 and not 2? short game around the green is usually the result of a missed green and you want to get up and down.
  11. My basic response would be does it matter why you hit it better. People don't always fit into what the believe they should be fit into. This is why you hit the clubs and capture data about your strikes so you can evaluate and determine what works best for how you swing the club.
  12. I would suggest doing some research on expectation management and stroke gained for your handicap level. IMO, Keeping mental focus is probably on of the most difficult parts of the game. Even the professionals struggle to keep mental focus for every shot over 18 holes. You have to figure out how to forget all the past shots, they are in the past, and focus on the shot in front of you and what you need to do and can accomplish at a high percentage rate. How do you relax in other situations you consider to be stressful?
  13. 1. Hope your feeling better. 2. Interesting that you experienced that. MGS has talked about it for a few years and many have scoffed at the findings and said players won't noticed an off center core. 3. Why can't you cut the ball while watching the masters
  14. Definitely post some comparison numbers to show if it does or doesn't help with off center dispersion.
  15. Not creating very lofty goals. I guess sometimes we need to create goals that can be easily achieved.
  16. The static lie angle does not change since you aren’t bending the lie angle. Dynamic lie angle may change but that will depend on how you sole the club.
  17. From counterbalancing has been a thing for a long time. I was fit for a balanced certified weight in the 90s/early 00s. superstroke as you know makes weights as do other smaller companies like tour lock.
  18. https://datagolf.com/live-tournament-stats morikawa - 7 homa - 6 aberg - 2
  19. Ranked 36 out of 60 for the event.
  20. Yes; even used by players at the highest level of play. Google alignment stick drills and you will find lots of ways to use them.
  21. What handicap level are you comparing for your strokes gained? Did you track stroke gained prior to the Edel?
  22. You should really hit the club to see what works best, but it we go by general convention it could be in the 85-105gr range. Since it is most likely the next club after 3/4 fairway wood look at maybe 10-20 grams heavier.
  23. Kind of says the same thing the same MGS lab test showed. I think the key is that if your stock swing is not full out then the full out will be better. If you are full out with stock, you will start to get out of sync/balance. I was part of the MGS test and full out was best for me.
  24. Bridgestone and Callaway also have US ball plants.
