  1. Intro Posted - Bag Expected Saturday based on UPS tracking. https://forum.mygolfspy.com/topic/64036-testers-announced-ghost-golf-anyday-bags/?do=findComment&comment=1051646
  2. Ghost Golf is HQ'd in California per the website address
  3. Dan Grieves or ShortGameChef. That means I am getting a short game lesson and potentially improving my game.
  4. Moreland, but your driving there doesn’t help me
  5. Thanks, does clarify. Since I am one of the Ghost bag testers I wanted to better understand your perspective since it might influence how I test. I just weighed my current bag which is a hybrid like the Ghost bag and I am at 27 1/2 pounds so it’s easy to get over 27 . I also assume you never take the bag off your Stewart cart?
  6. I know they have said for a while a cart bag is coming. Why don’t you think the any day model, will work on a push cart?
  7. Touch and maybe aim or stroke issues. Touch is hard to do indoors some we don’t typically have 20 to 30 foot spaces to practice. The biggest issue tends to be consistent rhythm for all putts. Maybe you speed up or accelerate during the stroke as putts get longer this leads to inconsistently. Practice same rhythm no matter the stroke length. Even count it out by saying something like one potato two. One potato is backstroke and two is end of stroke. Assuming you are aiming down the startline, you just need to practice getting the face back where you aimed. Working in rhythm might help that also. Their SG formula starts at the tee and factors in distance remaining so it isn’t just looking at putting as a separate entity. If you were just look at putting, you would be gaining a little as a 15 from 20 feet.
  8. Product Shipping Update: Ghost Golf has generously added the cart strap and a set of towels to our orders. The Ghost Golf system continuous sends emails to update order progress from received to confirmed to shipped with tracking numbers. Bags are coming UPS from Georgia and towel/strap coming USPS from California. As we all do when golf equipment is coming we track constantly and my shipments are still showing label created.
  9. Why are you losing strokes on the green? Are you missing short putts, do you have speed issues, do you not aim and start the ball where aimed, contact issues, or do you have green reading issues? Having a putting mat is great, but what are you doing to maintain/improve aim, touch, stroke, and read skills?
  10. Might be your email provider. I could never get the main sites email and had to subscribe using another email address and forward to my primary email. Even had HQ verify my email was in the system. The forum newsletters if I get them all go to my SPAM….I haven’t received one today
  11. You first take the lateral relief. As you stated that puts you on the cart path. You can then take appropriate relief from the cart path.
  12. You could also use double sided tape to stick the sensor on the end of the grip. SS sells this option for those with superstroke grips.

Launch monitors measure a little differently which is why you always want to compare clubs side by side. yes, the numbers seem reasonable, With efficiently numbers of 1.48ish you are close to the center but could be a little better. Your spin is a little low on the TD driver. Since you are using the TD you already have a weight forward design. More ball speed is achieved by better contact and faster swing speed.
  14. I don't carry much (maybe a glove) on the outside of the bag; I put everything in the available pockets which is why internal storage space is important to me.
  15. My dream putter would be one that I could mill myself using patterned Damascus. For this to happen, i'd have to learn how to mill steel. Would want hand milled and not CNC milled. It would probably be something with swappable components like Machine putters.
  16. Things should start moving pretty quickly. Ghost Golf has confirmed the orders and shipping labels have been completed with UPS. Since the product is coming from Georgia is looks like a quick trip to Virginia.
  17. I believe If it was purchased from a third party seller then there are different policies. That is why I always buy things that ship from Amazon.
  18. Sounds like you just want to do paintfill. testers or Tamiya paint, Acetone, toothpick, brushes, or needle paint applicators, and paper towels are the basics.
  19. pretty basic with wedge/short game. I move ball position to control height and don’t manipulate the face very much. 4 wedges: Set PW - used for full swings and partial wedge shots. set GW - used fior full swings and partial wedge shots Vokey 54/12 - used for full shots, bunker, partial wedges. Typically square faced and don’t open it up much. Vokey 60/8 - lives in the bag. while not wedges I used most of my clubs around the green chipping.
  20. Based on your photos, I would say those greens are bordering on unplayable. If I had a choice I would pick the other course as well and I have avoided courses in my area due to the condition of the greens.
  21. Good to hear from you again and welcome back. I thought your plans were to move back to Hawaii ?
  22. I know there is lots of debate about YouTube instruction, but I think if you can get better and I feel like through some YouTube instruction I have gotten better. Short game has been my nemesis for a long time and I have been watching videos from Dan Grieve and Parker McLaughlin (ShortGameChef) and feel that they have helped my short game a significant amount over the last 6 months or so. In the past I have spent considerable time with instructors attempting to fix my issues and while I got better, I feel like the YouTube videos and repeatedly watching them reinforced what was taught during my lessons.
  23. Probably butt trimmed. I don’t know what you asked for or how the order was specified. If you species an overall length there may have been a disconnect on shaft length versus playing length. The shaft should play a slight bit stiffer than if it was 1.25” longer and probably not something most people would notice. While not the topic of the thread, if you we fit into a club 1.25” longer then you will possibly have contact issues.
  24. I don’t have my bag yet, but that is a question I have about the bags and what I want to evaluate during testing. am used to the full length pocket on one side and consider storage important becuase I carry lots of unnecessary stuff.
  25. To me no, to others a definitive yes. What “thing” would it have to change to make it worth it for you?
