  1. We are not missing your point. Perhaps you can write the rule; how do you definitively determine without a doubt that a divot is no longer a divot.
  2. That sucks. My guess wouldn't be to lower swing weight but to put .370 shafts and they screwed up and just glued the shafts back into the clubs and dumped them. The only option I can think of would be a shim, but that may not hold up long term.
  3. 303 Stainless I really wanted to soften the edges and he did a great job. Here is the latest update. Colors from Torching came out great. We aren't doing any paintfill except for the sightline; trying to figure out what color that will be. I don't like white; any suggestions?
  4. Just finished testing them as part of the MGS GI Most Wanted. They are definitely a GI type club but for a Ping club they don't look bad. GI is an interesting category as some manufacturers that do a great job of hiding the bulkiness that you typically see in this category. The good thing is that they aren't the lowest spinning club so you do get some performance. One Length are interesting too; it is really hard to get used to hitting a wedge that is that long.
  5. I was terrible at this +4 and that included a few correct guesses
  6. Green and Red are moderators, blue are donors, black are forum members
  7. I know you do; When I was researching I saw a bunch of posts from you about them on other forums I am eager to get the putter and try it out. Obviously we are doing some significant mods, already cut about 18 grams off the putter. In between a mini and full size putter; just under 4" from heel to toe. Your posts talking about how much you liked the putter and the articles on MGS from a few years ago sold me.
  8. I think I am going to like this putter based on todays pictures.
  9. Watch Laura Davies, she has a good process for making a tee
  10. With the new push to draw people ; which I think you are seeing in the sub70 thread, applications will be high. People won’t look at the requirements as they will only see the full set of clubs part. My guess 4900.
  11. Basic logic yes. 2 piece balls offer no advantage off the tee and provide minimal stopping power around the greens. The main attraction is cost; which the Kirkland ball eliminates.
  12. Could be if you look at courses like Brandon. But looking at other courses with 100 yard wide fairways and bulldozer created structures seems to say the opposite. The trend seems to be sustainability of a course meaning fewer bunkers, more unkept areas, and shorter less landmass courses. That said, I would guess they still water and keep the fairways pretty immaculate. My intended joke was to get rid of irrigation and drainage; which isn’t going to happen, and just play in the fields like when golf started.
  13. Quick test: depends Laptop/chrome - yes iPad/safari - yes iPhone/chrome and safari - no/can’t find
  14. Agree, let’s get rid of sprinklers and drains and play the game like golfs forefathers. You know follow the spirit of the game and get rid of these finely manicured courses. [emoji23][emoji1787][emoji23][emoji12]
  15. Wish I could give this multiple likes. Thanks for posting the additional “motivation” behind the program as it definitely casts a different light on the topic.
  16. Good or bad, it and my coaches approach have completely my perspective on how to play the game from the tee. The Decade program has also changed how I watch golf and understanding the total BS that is said by many golf announcers. Hope you enjoy the Kool-aid!
  17. The quality of most of the videos is not clear enough to say. People report that he and others braced their putters. The stroke in that era was primarily a pop stroke and it seems like the forearm could be and is some cases was braced against the leg. Just like you say Bernhard Langer anchors and I am saying Spieth and Horschel anchor. Maybe they do maybe they don’t; we often see what we want to see to support our position . My point was that bracing a putter or body part against the body is nothing new and has been around since as Faxon said “golfs forefathers” played the game. These players Also improved club design to make them more effective and perform better. In my opinion the call to ban them is strictly due to appearances. The call to ban has nothing to do with the spirit of the game or what golf was like 100 years ago. I am not saying one is right and one is wrong. I personally think that anchoring and armlock should be allowed. You believe the opposite. There are many people on both sides of the discussion. At this point I don’t see any overwhelming reason to change the rules. In my opinion while it provides some additional stability, the grip isn’t locked in any more than a normal grip can be since it does not inhibit all wrist movement and the end of the putter can be altered based on wrist and hand movement. I also don’t think that the rule can be written clearly enough to cover all possible scenarios. We can continue to go in circles on the discussion as I doubt that anyone will change their mind on the topic. Unless we have some additional evidence; not opinion, to show why the rules should change this topic has pretty much run its course in my mind.
  18. I don’t think the tool tells you to stop playing the ball. The tool provides information gathered from an assessment of golf balls. You determine how to use that information. If you like the bridgestone ball, it does what you want performance wise, and is available then continue to play it. If you find the ball performance to be inconsistent from ball to ball then you can use The chart that maybe rates a little better
  19. I was wondering if I should post pictures, but Adam didn't tell me that it was under embargo
  20. Updated the post to show the pictures; tapatalk does a bad job posting pictures from links. Just search for one of those players, you should be able to find a video. 80* is max vertical you can go with a putter, Bryson may be in that range, but I think most others are more standard lie angles.
  21. It is a Bellum Winmore. Company doesn't exist anymore but apparently one of the owners is selling off some of the putters on eBay. he has been customizing them so I reached out to see if we could come up with something. Stock putter was too heavy and based on what he was doing on eBay I made some customizations. Heel and toe have been cut off, going to soften some of the edges and torch it as dark as we can get it. He started on it today and should have it ready sometime next week. Hard to tell in the picture but it is a black camo pattern. I am guessing that is some of the new merchandise that will hit the store soon. I think there was also a valuables bag, alignment stick covers, and black putter covers.
  22. The top fantasy teams in the league make the fantasy playoffs which correspond to the fedex playoffs. That means the number of available players goes down each week. The more of those players on your roster before The playoffs start the better you should do. However those top players may not play every week so you need a roster that will qualify you for the playoffs. It is a balancing act.
