Everyday it is more putting . doing a lot of reading and working on building stroke and aim skills.
Probably shouldn't be, but have started working on short chip shot movements (only when SWMBO isn't around.) trying to figure out body/arm motions to get better contact. Following the Dan Grieve 3 releases approach. If I could figure out how to play shots within 50 yards of the green I might actually become a good golfer. My wedge game is so frustrating!!!!!!!!!!!!

If everyone commits to playing back that day I would do the drive up and back just to watch the carnage
I am not playing back; the Black tees are about my limit; hard to believe there are two tee boxes behind those. We can both laugh at those playing the Invicta tees.

That PING B60 is a dandy!!! They offered them "Beached" which is when there is a very thin cut in the sole of the putter all the way thru the head and produces a "tinny" sound when hit I didn't care for but the feel is what a putter of the ball looks for !!! It was so sought after PING has started making it again
You can tell the Cameron junkie….they were offered with a “sound slot”

Honestly, I think the answer is simply you dont get that opportunity.

Has anyone seen Lucas Glover's new Prototype DF3 Broomstick putter in person at the Players
Are you asking if someone has attended the Players and seen his putter or has anyone held one in their hands? The later has probably not happened as the putter hasn’t been commercially released and people that have seen it in person is probably a very small group,

I suspect the df3 broomstick will happen soon as the df3 head is the same size as a Mezz max.
Looks like the DF3 broomstick is on tour. Lucas Glover has one in the bag this week

So…what is the training aid?
He was replicating the Prosendr. He made the ball part with some Velcro and a dog ball.

All I know is that it is another non standard measurement in the golf industry and that most knowledgeable people will say torque is about personal feel. The below article seems to give the same thoughts expressed above

Looks like I missed the call tonight. Must have been a short one. Ah, well. See ya next time.
Sorry you missed the call, it was actually a fairly long call; typically an hour but yesterday’s was closer to an hour and a half. @GolfSpy_APHwas extra interesting and we had a special appearance from @GolfSpy MPR who talked about being reprimanded by the OEM for making a DIY version of their training aid using a dog toy.

Interesting there limitations in the the adaptors still, thought they would have solved that by now. I’d assume some people want/need loft and not a closed face. You might find this interesting.

As mentioned above, GG and PGASS offer sim rentals. There is a restaurant near me that rents room$30-$50 an hour. Top Golf is $30-$60 an hour depending on day and time.

Is the TM independent for Lie / Loft? It does not look closed at all.
However, until the other day, I didn't know they made a 12 deg head. I am sort of curios why I don't have that either... I don't think I hit that. Is a click not a full degree or something? Like is it .5 clicks and I am only at 11 deg?Page 26-28 of this should help you: https://www.taylormadegolf.com/on/demandware.static/-/Sites-tmag-custom-catalog-us/default/v1582967710268/pdf/Custom_Shafts.pdf
2 clicks from standard should be
3º CLOSED +1.5º LOFT 1.25º UP LIE ANGLE +300 RPM

@cnosil Chris physically looked like he is really ready to get back into being able to swing and get out golfing.
I may look like I am ready and mentally ready to play, but still not allowed to lift over 10 lbs. and a couple more weeks before I am allowed to do a full swing. Unfortunately, the incision is still a bit bothersome too.
I also have a wife who is still watching me like a hawk which is preventing me sneaking off the the course.

I can actually putt pretty well with just my right hand, and I do that when warming up… trying not to break my right wrist. Elbows are slightly flexed and left elbow is more flexed on the through stroke. Shoulders don’t rock much; more of a piston motion with putter and head doesn’t release past hands.
I can see that we will have some interesting discussions in Kingsmill!!
Honestly, that doesn't sound that odd to me. Right arm dominant stroke (Tiger is right arm dominant). Not breaking wrists is something people try to do. not everyone rocks their shoulders which makes it more arms with passive shoulders. The piston motion is probably more of an old school stroke kind of like Nicklaus. I am guessing with the Kuchar style you are trying to get a little more stability and stroke control?
My stroke is left arm dominant with passive shoulders. I don't focus on not bending the wrist but don't actively use them. I move the putter back with left arm and then let it fall back through the stroke.
Looking forward to all the discussions at Kingsmill. I love talking about putting and understanding what people are trying to do but if the conversations aren't about golf that is fine too.

I try lots of putters via MGS most wanted testing and I think the worst feeling/sounding one would be the Tour Edge Wingman.

2. In theory, you check to see that your dominant (or for some people front) eye is directly over the ball (and not outside of it) .. plus you can (also in theory ) check if your shoulders are square with all the lines on the mirror vs open or closed.
I would agree those are theories/choices. I'd say the mirror is about checking consistency of setup which includes eye position and shoulder alignment.

... Compared to Rory? No. Compared to everyone on a golf forum? Most definitely a high speed player.
Compared to people on the MGS forum. Based on the below, some people have seen other forums where most of the forum members carry it over 300.

Sorry, no I am new to the forum and just want to understand as most of the exposure has been thru email testing adverts.
I can tell you that the average golfer is turned off by participating by exclusivity/elitism. The sport can be perceived as such.
I am just a golfer looking for a place to discuss gear, the game, etc as mentioned previous. I also happen to be returning to the sport and planning for new equipment. Local pro shop allows league memembers to try new gear, so not imperative for me to test to try new gear.
Do all new forum members need to explain themselves?
No need to explain anything. We are primarily here to discuss exactly what you want to discuss; which is golf and golf equipment. Most people come for the testing and then learn there is way more to the community than just testing.
Welcome to the forum and happy to have you here.

I just did a 10 second search. Do a search to make sure the site is reputable or to find a cheaper price.

Living locally, I have not played at Kingsmill yet. I have had the opportunity to watch the LPGA play.
With that being said, wish they had a package for those that don’t need the lodging. Seeing how I live less than 30 minutes from the golf course. Being able to play all three courses would be a great long weekend, even for a local.
It is a possibility, but based on discussions with Kingsmill the availability of additional tee times won’t be known until closer to the event.

I see. Perhaps an "must be a member for x months" or x many of posts". I am an email junkie, so if an offer or reminder of a post happens, I address it. I am a very active member of forums in general and was lured here by an advertisement for testing. I am assuming there is a certain amount of click bait involved to grow membership. Constant reminders in email about testing seem to be the norm. Assuming that persons like myself will post as time permits which is the case as I have many questions/comments about new gear, the game and courses as I return to the game.
The testing opportunities are advertised via MGS social media and emails because they want to grow the community and keep people informed.
I’m going to be honest about what I am thinking., you seem to want to change the system to.give yourself a better chance at being selected because you really don’t want to participate on the forum for whatever reason. Could be lack of time, lack of desire, or some other reason…which is fine since it is your choice,
The mods have made choices on how testers will be selected and their process seems to work well.

Is it just me or does 1 ball a minute seen pretty quick? I tend maybe like 1 every three minutes or so. Ive notice when im frustrated ill hit balls faster and then my swing goes to junk. So i ten to hit a show, analyze why or how it when the way its did, a practice swing or two, then hit the shot. I think i possibly over assess what the shot was but i have playing partners that are terrible keep in mind but theyll just swing to swing and nvr try fix anything
It could be, the point being dont just rake balls over and hit a large bucket in 30 minutes. I just found those times online and they could be completely wrong but they illustrate the point. I think waiting a minute between shots will feel like a long time.; I’m going to have to time myself next time I go to the range.

I watched it a few weeks ago. I need to remember that if it is an Oscar worthy movie I need to not watch; It was 3 long boring hours that I did not find entertaining.
