I'm starting to get jealous of you southern boys. I played a round today that was cold & windy. The first 12 holes were kinda ugly....+13.....I was cold (ya...that's it...cold ). Anyway.......I finally got in the groove after 12 holes and played the final 6 holes 1-under....hitting the flagstick twice on chip shots I was pretty darn happy with those final holes.

Back to back OB drives turned a personal best 77 into an 81. The irony.....I was laying up with a 3 wood both times.

No, I'm always happy with an 81. I just thought it funny that on a course with only 3 OB holes, and only 2 with OB left (my miss), I found them playing safe with a 3-wood off the T. Woulda Coulda Shoulda...still had a fun round!
The 735 CM's are coming around nicely too, BTW. I really enjoyed playing with them, and hit them well.

Looks like it hurts. Not your feet are they? Anyway.....when I was a kid I wanted to have "Tarzan" feet. You know.....fully calloused soles so I could walk on anything (and swing from vines). It was a good idea at the time anyway.

Played a set of Titleist 735's today. Really nice set of irons.

One Yellow dot just below/left of the number. I really like a clean, unmarked ball, and find that the least obtrusive.

Opened my round with 7 straight pars. Too bad I finished it with 11 straight bogeys. Grrrrrrrr.

Put an Axivcore Tour Green shaft in my R11 last night. So far so good. Same trajectory, much more roll.

FINALLY!!!! I Broke 80. I shot my first 79 today.
