  9. I have been asked many times how the LPGA constructs their field lists every week. In most cases they use the LPGA Priority List. Here is the brand new 2021 LPGA Priority List (with a brief explanation of how they put their weekly fields together). www.womensgolf.com/2021-lpga-priority-list
  10. I agree with you as regards to the two courses. It couldn't be helped though because you couldn't ge 156 players around one course in December before darkness.

  13. It has been a very unusual LPGA season so far to say the least. Due to the pandemic there were four tournaments played early in the year, and then play was halted for five months. Play finally resumed on the last day of July, but fans were not allowed to attend. Nine more tournaments have now been played, so thirteen tournaments are now in the books. The player results of these thirteen tournaments have been treated by the Rolex Women’s Golf World Rankings as any other results would have been treated in any normal year. Thirteen tournaments may not sound like a lot, but it has resulted in major changes in the Rolex Rankings in 2020. Changes that will have a direct affect as to what players will qualify for both the 2021 Olympic and Solheim Cup teams. 14. It took a lot longer than we originally expected, but the LPGA has completed its first ten tournaments on the abbreviated 2020 schedule. For full story: www.womensgolf.com/lpga-tournaments-2020-season
  15. Ko needs to take control of her life both on the course and off. She can't seem to stand over a shot without a long conversation with her caddy. Her mother makes all her other decisions.
  16. Thanks for the compliments guys. I am glad you all enjoy reading stuff like this. I too wonder what long term affect this will have on her career after this meltdown.
  17. A lot has happened on the LPGA the past few weeks. Here is a recap of some of the major stories: www.womensgolf.com/as-the-lpga-world-turns
  18. We knew the LPGA would restart the season in ohio. What we didn't know is that it would be with a brand new tournament at the famed Inverness Club. For complete story: www.womensgolf.com/lpga-update-inverness
  19. The governor of Ohio announced todat that fans will be allowed to attend the event!
  20. After several changes to the 2020 schedule due to the Corona Virus, the LPGA is scheduled to resume its season on July 23rd in Ohio. Resume you ask? Yes, although it now seems like a lifetime ago, the LPGA actually did play four tournaments earlier this year. For Full article: www.womensgolf.com/lpga-ready-to-resume-its-schedule-in-ohio
  21. With the COVID-19 Coronavirus putting a temporary halt on the LPGA 2020 season, I thought this would be a good time to showcase some of the great players on the tour. I have chosen one of my favorite players. She is one of the most consistent players on the LPGA Tour and is one of the most approachable. She is always happy to sign anything put in front of her, or take a picture with you. There is no “diva” in this lady and she is always wearing a smile. My choice is So Yeon Ryu (pronounced as ‘So-Yun-You’). Complete player profile: www.womensgolf.com/so-yeon-ryu-tour-profile
  22. Three more tournaments have now been postponed: Lotte Championship, Hugel-Air Premia LA Open, and the LPGA Mediheal Championship. The ANA Inspiration has been moved to Sept 10-13. The Cambia Portland which was in that spot has been moved to the following week.
