I golf Monday/Wednesday/Friday at 7:30 A.M. with about 12 guys, all retired. So we bought a weekday membership and saved some bucks.

Just an FYI, why is the course handicap set to 0 on SIM rounds?

I will be on the hunt for new wedges early this year. I'm happy with my current ones but they are starting to show some wear.
Be sure to check out the Edison wedges….

I have settled in for Maxfli Tour, S & X with Titleist Trufeel when it’s colder. I find the Trufeel travel farther than the Maxfli during the winter months when temp is 40* - 60*. No scientific studies performed, just my personal observations.

I was watching some you tube videos and came across Elite Fit golf, he did comparisons for the wedges and also has another video for the driver counter balance.
If I remember correctly, Jack Nicklaus used to peddle a set of grips with counterbalance weights in the butt. Did anybody ever try them? Think they were called the Secret Grip.

I am looking at 8 dozen Maxfli Tours in my closet so I believe I am set for the year.

I was curious about this as I was reading this thread. In Ireland (and presumably other places, UK for sure as well) when you are recording a score for handicap purposes (which is very often in a weekly club competition) you have to finish EVERYTHING. There is no concept of a gimme. Gimme's only enter the equation if you are playing matchplay, or out for a casual round. It seems there might be different interpretations of the "world" handicap system
Totally agree…..

Balmy 41* as I head out to the club this morning. Only 9 of us today for this wintry chill in central FL. Recently bought some warm garments to wear…a vest and an insulated jacket from 32 degrees website. Very lightweight and warm.

About 12 years ago, I dropped my handicap from 18 to 13, then changed my grips from standard to mid size. I thought that the larger grip would help my arthritis. Was I wrong! My handicap shot up to 20 in 3 months!
