I don't understand the problem. But then again, I don't understand why pros have to have it so quiet either. When I'm over the ball, I hear nothing. I'm focused on the shot, not what's going on around me. That being said, I seem to be in a very small minority so I have no problem with someone who doesn't like music. I enjoy a mix of music played at a reasonable level but am just fine without it as well. Music is an enjoyment and should never be a problem. If it becomes one then it needs to be turned off.

I don't find myself over swinging at all and I started while I was playing. I just find that I've learned how to incorporate more speed into my normal swing. I try to make an actual golf swing as hard as I can when doing the training. I don't just swing hard.
