  1. If anyone of the six testers has any experience with the Baffler rails system that Cobra does so well, please comment on the new stuff and the lack of the rails. Do you find that turf interaction is just as good or worse without the rails?
  2. Don't know if anyone knows him, but Cole Swindell (country singer) is a fellow alum and huge supporter of Georgia Southern Athletics like me. We got to hang with him a bit back in November and I just found out we're heading to a concert in November! Pretty pumped up for that opportunity!
  3. Good morning everyone! Bit of a late start to the day for me but today is one of the few days I have nothing going on after work so I'm gonna relax and try to enjoy the evening. It's supposed to rain for a few days so I'm stuck with living room golf or video game golf only, haha.
  4. I just got caught up on this topic, but I'm kind of a mixture. My stock shot shape is a baby draw but I can hit a big draw and and I can hit a fade on command. So I'll definitely bend one around corners or change to a fade when hitting to certain pins, but I just play my stock shot most of the time.
  5. Yep, just call 1-800-933-4395 and they'll be able to set ya up with what you're after.
  6. Sure thing! Happy to answer any questions and if I don't have an answer I'll get one for you.
  7. I believe they are the best wedges available but I may be biased as a contract employee of Edison. I've used every wedge Terry has made since Eidolon, they just flat out work and do what he says they do. I sent some to Ian at TXG for testing, one of the best unbiased review channels on YouTube. After I check MGS reviews first, TXG is always my second place. Here's the video of them testing and reviewing the wedges I sent. https://youtu.be/TM9iS8f5Wsc
  8. That's what I have as well. I started mine a few years ago and I'm certain that I've left one or two courses off but I always make sure to add the new ones!
  9. Saw the earlier discussion, I'm at 62 courses across six states. Really want to play golf in all 50 states, a friend of mine has done it three times and is working on a fourth.
  10. I use a brand called DBrush. I randomly met the former owners of the company one day and they gave me one to try. I loved having something so small I didn't even know it was in my pocket. I bought three packs of them a week later and still have most of them as I've given a couple away. Little pocket brushes are probably my favorite accessory because I feel lost if I forget mine.
  11. Really interested in how you get along with the Cobra irons @chisag. I know you ordered them and disliked the look so much you sent them back, I'm thinking they'll look a lot better now than they did before haha. Congrats again to you, @sirchunksalot, @CFreddie, @Jnoble89, @Tom the Golf Nut, and @JerryB on this huge honor. Ready to see the competition unfold!
  12. We definitely have to link up for a round during this! Pumped for you!
  13. Got the new King Cobra hat in today, ready to welcome its new friends to the family!
  14. Congrats testers! What a great group, can't wait to see how this unfolds! Sorry, I had to try to spice things up a bit. I'll show myself out.
  15. Good morning guys! Hope you all had a great weekend. It flew by for us as we were out of town at the Georgia Southern Spring Game but it was super fun! The first day back at work is always a rough one after a trip, feel like I've been here for eight hours already and I'm only at four, haha.
  16. Lots of cool things going on in everyone's lives. I too am glad the weather is getting to be good golf weather!
  17. An action packed weekend kept me fairly busy and almost kept my mind off this. It at least flew by, already getting excited for the people chosen! Gonna be a good time had by all whether chosen or not!
  18. Speaking of Lexi, when I went to the 2013 PGA Merchandise Show, the first booth I stopped in to start the day was Cobra. Met Lexi and Jesper Parnevik. Just wish I'd gotten a picture with them instead of snapping one before meeting them. I'm Team Cobra and ready to participate in the #Cobra50thMemberSpecial
  19. The good news is that the weekend should help things move along quicker!
  20. Awesome, love hearing these types of things!
  21. So I've always been a believer in having something positive to look forward to, ya know, to help you get through the rough days. I thought it would be cool to have a place for our members to come and share the amazing opportunities, activities, events, or experiences that they have coming up in life. And it doesn't have to be golf specific, anything you are excited about can be shared here. I know a lot of people are looking forward to that countdown hitting zero on Tuesday morning for the Cobra selection, but for me I'm really looking forward to a week long vacation I'm taking this summer with my best friend, my 9 year old nephew. We're basically joined at the hip and love to do anything and everything together. Every time we visit my college town of Statesboro, GA it seems like everything is just a rush. We get in on a Friday night, attend whatever sporting event we're there for on Saturday, and come home Sunday. There's so much we haven't been able to do so we're taking a full week, enjoying all we can, and even visiting Savannah and the beach. Excited is an understatement!
  22. I'm enjoying it for sure. I played the 2K version but never liked it as much as EA. I will say my favorite thing so far is that they have the Masters Honorary Starters when you play in the Masters in Career Mode and it was super cool. They had their walk, their swing, the Gary Player leg kick. Gave me chills to watch it.
  23. For the Snakebite Wedges, only the 56, 58, and 60 degree options are full face grooves. The Snakebite-X however are full face across all lofts which is interesting. Should help for the player that sometimes misses out toward the toe.
