Just a quick update, I'm still loving the watch. The battery life is phenomenal and the health tracking is really helpful. Had some heart rate issues recently and the watch warned me in the middle of the night again. Incredibly happy and thankful to have this watch.

Did some iron shaft testing over the weekend, was fit into Project X LZ shafts a few years ago and have loved the performance. I've changed my swing slightly and thought it would be a good idea to at least revisit the iron shafts and see if there was anything that performed better for me. After trying a ton of different options, I realized I still don't get along with KBS shafts, Dynamic Gold were better for me than they used to be, but the Project X LZ were still king. Time to order a set for my Ben Hogan project!

Interesting data, @Shapotomous. What do you think causes your ball speed to be lower than club speed with the RTX-3? I don't know that I've seen that before so I'm just curious. Looking forward to the outside data, the benefits of our clubs are usually much more noticable off grass on real shots vs mats. Keep up the great work!

I'm glad this came up. The common misconception is that these are for high handicaps but we have people as low as +3 that use our wedges. Maybe this isn't supposed to be known yet, but we have some college teams looking to bag them as well. My short game is one of my strengths and I like to get "cute" with my shots. I hit low checkers, nippers, flops, and pretty much anything you can think of and do it with ease. I'll link this cool article that came out three years ago that talks about how Tiger grinds his own wedges. He creates his own version of a dual bounce sole, giving more bounce in the leading edge, but also having relief in the back when needed. The sole is offered by most companies but none are quite like Terry's, which is understandable since he is the one who invented it and held the original patent. It's the most versatile sole in the industry and has never seen a lie or shot it didn't like. That being said, us golfers aren't all made from the same mold. No club will ever work for 100% of people and we know that. But the club will work for all types of golfers for sure. Except lefties, we're trying to make that happen.

I've personally continued using the watch daily and decided to see what other smart watches were like. I've tried a Galaxy and Pixel Watch and sold both to keep my Garmin. Didn't realize how much I appreciated battery life until using watches I had to charge daily. I definitely prefer charging once every two weeks.

One advantage would be that you don't have to select which club you've hit after each shot and it should improve accuracy as well.

That is correct. We have an exclusive deal with KBS to offer only their shafts as stock offerings. We will have other KBS options available soon for a very little difference in price, around $10. Anything else we have to special order. We have discounts available fairly often that help offset the costs though. There have been a bunch of times where people call me for a special order shaft or grip and end up paying less or barely more than you normally would because of a promo that's running.

Bought some new irons a couple weeks ago, and after they were lost twice while in transit, they finally arrived! When my boss was heading up Ben Hogan Golf, he created these irons called the Ft Worth 15. I always loved them when I tried them in stores but had just bought new irons when they released. Found this set for really cheap and can't wait to get them reshafted and in the bag!

It's a very late good morning from me here, I hope everyone's day is going as good as possible! Loving the cooler fall weather here in the mountains, we actually had so much frost over the weekend that yards were white of the mornings.

This place has been my golf home for years and I'm so excited to have our wedges on here for testing! Congrats again to @Placasse61, @TG8, @Shapotomous and even the App State guy @PMookie haha. Once we get the specs in, we'll get everyone's clubs built and on the way! I'm considering getting a couple of the Garmin sensors for my wedges only so it can pick up those delicate shots around the green better. Still absolutely loving the watch and have noticed no drop-off in battery life at all.
