Are either of you excited about Ridder? I just can't get excited about him at all. Really hoping he's the answer though, would be nice to be relevant again.

This beauty showed up two days early! And then it rained all evening so it only got some living room use but it's every but as good as my Directed Force 2.1 that I've had for a few years. Can't wait to get this thing on the course!

Played at Twin Bridges Golf Club in Gadsden, Alabama yesterday with my nephew to cross another state off his list in our new journey to play in all 50 states. Had an absolute blast and he played some of his most consistent golf yet. I played decently and can't say enough about the course. The staff was exceptional and the course was fun. Pictured is the signature hole, a 180 yard par 3 that was down hill and over water. Hit a 9 iron pin high to about 8 feet but lipped the birdie putt out. Definitely a course I'd like to get out to again, it seemed very scoreable and with a round under my belt I could see myself shooting close to even or better.

Thankfully had a yardage book for the course and was able to play alright but it was definitely difficult not knowing my yardages exactly. Still had a blast though!

Not my best day at all, hit the ball extremely well but got frustrated with long wait times. Seems like the course was overbooked and we caught up to it just a few holes in.

Somehow just seeing this thread but I've made my feelings known elsewhere on the site. I've been a member for over 11 years, since February 2012. In the early stages I didn't get involved much as I was on staff at another golf forum and spent most of my time there. But once it changed directions I knew I wanted to come here and become more active, and I'm sure glad I did. It's absolutely the best place to be to talk golf on the internet and the strides that have been made in improving this community are more than evident. Amazing job to the staff and I'm enjoying being along for the ride! Can't wait to watch us grow and get even better!

Hey everyone! Hope everyone has had a fantastic start to the day. Work and life have kept insanely preoccupied so I've missed posting in here the last few days. Finally got an email that my second LAB putter is in production and expected to ship tomorrow! We hosted one at Georgia Southern last year for the first time and it was awesome. Unfortunately we didn't make it out and then this year we fell flat and never really looked like ourselves. Hoping next year we get back on track.

One of my bucket list items is to play golf in all 50 states. While I'd like it to be some iconic course in each state, it just isn't practical at this point in the journey. I have a measly six states crossed off my list (GA, FL, SC, NC, AL, and TN) but hope to keep adding as time and money allows. My sister gave me one of my nephew's worksheets from school yesterday and one of the questions on it was along the lines of what is a goal you would like to accomplish one day. He just finished 3rd grade and is absolutely my best friend, we're pretty inseparable. His answer was that he wanted to play golf in all 50 states with his uncle. Talk about allergies acting up and making my eyes water. So I'm happy to say the journey is restarting with him, with GA, TN, and NC already covered and Alabama coming up this weekend! Can't wait!

No Natz was created in South Georgia, the gnat capital of the world. Everyone I know swears by it, just got my first bottle and haven't tried yet.

Congrats testers! I hope one day they expand their shoes for us in the extra wide crowd, but until then I'll just follow along and be envious of you all!

Posted this with my round over in the Virtual Tournament thread, but I got out for an early round this morning before covering a late shift at work. Shot a 76 with three birdies and the greatest iron shot I've ever hit in my life. Had 188 out on the par 5 that I live on after hitting a big drive with my 3 wood. Rangefinder said I was 195 with slope so I pulled 7 iron and hit a draw around a low hanging tree branch to about 10 feet. Lipped the eagle putt out but that iron shot was the most pure thing I've ever felt. The Edison 2.0 wedges were on fire today and my new Callaway Apex UW hit a 276 yard drive on a par 4 that plays downhill but it's still insane! The game was as close to my normal self as I've been since the injury which is a huge sigh of relief. Still work to be done though!

Good morning, Spies! Taking a trip to see my chiropractor friend for an adjustment. I never believed in chiro practices until I met him and he changed my life for the better. @BKervin sending good thoughts and prayers your way, heart stuff can be scary. I have been dealing with a congenital heart issue for the last 14 years that they didn't find until I was 19 because that's when it started giving me issues. Hoping for the best!

Rough is lava. Each ball you hit that ends up in the rough adds a stroke to your score. Sand, fairway, pine straw, mulch, anything else is just normal golf.

What day are you doing your next test on the putting mat? Looking forward to this week's results!

Huge congrats to Jackson! Sounds like we've got boys in the same age range. My nephew just wrapped up his first regular season of kid pitch and had his first practice with the all stars last night. Our travel ball season starts in a couple weeks and I'm so ready for it. I love coaching and watching him play other sports, but baseball is by far my favorite.
