After trying 3 different shafts in the R1, i bought a used 910 D2 to give a go. It's in the bag for now, sure am glad I invested the $650 in the R1...:/
I feel your pain. I switched out my 913D3 for a R1. The R1 is definitely 8-12 longer...but man....I can control the D3 soooo much better. The D3 is back in the bag with about 20g of lead taped to it :-))
