  1. Tuned in over the course of the tournament to watch my second favorite Spaniard (Belen retired) compete and enjoyed watching. Had not heard of Pedersen or Knight previous. Great win for Stacy.
  2. Seriously looking at a full brim hat for sun protection purposes.
  3. Looks like his caddy is using a non-staff carry bag. I would think this should be more common but I don't see it. Sent from my SM-A205U using MyGolfSpy mobile app
  4. Found this yesterday while helping my son look for his ball. Google came up with zero information. Has a Korean/Japanese market vibe. Sent from my SM-A205U using MyGolfSpy mobile app
  5. I would think at slow swing speeds used in putting, the higher/lower center of gravity will not have much of an effect on roll. Not enough force to transfer the difference to the ball.
  6. Great putter and can't go wrong with a Mills putter. I'd say refinish and put into play.
  7. My wedge setup is the stock set PW (46°) and Vokey 50°, 54°, 58°. My 58° gets the most play of the four wedges. This is my 90-yard and in club with the 50°/54° mostly relegated to greenside chips where I need a little more run and shots 90-125 yards, which those distances do not seem to happen often.
  8. The black Icons are certainly the most beautiful iron out there IMO. Anxious to read the reviews.
  9. Came across Sabaton several years ago when I read their name in an article. Looked them up and been listening to them ever since. I have always enjoyed military history and so with he majority of their lyrics relating such, it has become an enjoyable listen. I've been to a few of their concerts and such a great show.
  10. When the time comes to replace my current irons, I will seriously consider Maltby. I typically play a few clubs from the smaller manufacturer. Just last year I retired my MacGregor wedges and a year or two prior, my MacGregor driver.
  11. I could honestly play without a driver as the courses I typically play are older and short by today's standards. Added with playing at 4,200 feet certainly helps with a 1 club difference.
  12. And there is still quite the disparity between paychecks so nothing has changed. I get that sponsors have a lot to do with that.
  13. I don't think you can go wrong with any. The SC gets all the attention but RJB and Piretti are just as good. I really have my eye on picking of a Piretti Potenza II in the near future.
  14. Now that I have a few more rounds with the bag, I can say it is a great bag. I'm sure it is comparable to other cart bags. The difference is in cosmetics, the cooler, and the Top Lock which will only apply if you have a Bag Boy push cart like I do. Still usable with any bag via the tie-down strap but when used with a Bag Boy cart, the strap is not needed. As infrequent as I change equipment, I see myself using this bag for 10+ years. Bag Boy, if you are reading this, please add a second towel ring.
  15. I have played Circling Raven, great course. My parents live on #15 at Meadowwood and we have a cabin on Deer Lake where we spend our time when visiting so the rota is Chewelah (I will retire on the course there someday) and the Canyon. We did go up to Christina Lake in BC last year as they had specials. My dad learned the game at Downriver and Indian Canyon in the 1950s so I like to play those with him as sentimental favorites.
  16. Indian Canyon, Meadowwood, and Chewelah are on my list to play every summer when I travel to Spokane to see family.
  17. I can make this easy. If you hit OB, two stroke penalty and take relief from point of entry to a point on the nearest edge of the fairway no closer to the hole. Hit in yellow or red (how about eliminate the two hazards in favor one color - orange?) and take a one stroke penalty with the same placement on the fairway as OB. Lost ball, same with one stroke. Unplayable, two club length relief with one stroke.
  18. That is the beauty of this bag in that the cooler is unobtrusive. I've always taken exception to the "no cooler" rule as there should be no prohibition on personal hydration.
  19. For me, I don't need six cans in the cooler bag. I usually don't have cans anyway but carry water and Gatorade/Powerade. One hard shell icepack and three bottles of drink does the job.
  20. Ground burger and I add mix bacon pieces from Costco, onion, and whatever rib rub I have at the time. Smoke for an hour then 350 to temp. Prefer on my pellet grill over gas as there is less shrinkage (no George Costanza references).
  21. Not a big deal since Costco will take a return no questions asked.
