I had I think 3 pars today. I did not have 1 birdie putting opportunity today, I played very poorly. However, on hole 11, I had 5 room from 200 down hill, with a downhill lie, so it should have been a push lie, nope, I hooked it horribly bad into the trees, with OB over there, it was a really really bad shot, It was so close to OB, there were 3 of us to verify. I had an opening to the green, leaves and pine straw and mushy ground was the lie I had about a 15 foot hill to go up and about 40 feet of green that sloped from right to left, so I had a chance to get it at least on the green, I played a low bullet into the side of the hill and it popped up on to the green and rolled and rolled and rolled, it stopped about a foot short, just a routine 4, no big deal. My round was awful today, but I had a couple good shots.

So I bought this TMag Minidriver a couple weeks ago at play it again for 40 bucks. It has a matrix 60 Xflex in it 12°, I was struggling with driver for a bit so I just pulled it out and started using it. Prior to putting it in play I hit it about 10 times on the range. Man I love thing. I am pretty darn accurate with it. And I am only about 10 yards short of my full driver.  It’s 43.5 inches long so set up is just like my 3 wood.

Use heat, a hair dryer works very well for removing that stuff.

Here’s some random Fish for some of you who enjoy a day on the water. A bunch of my family members: brothers, cousins, uncles. Take a trip every September/October for the salmon run around the Tippy valley area in Michigan. They specifically fish for Chinook, more commonly known as King Salmon. Here is a photo of their catch over the weekend. These salmon are massive.

We’ve been doing so much work outside. Of course it is sooo hot here we can do it early morning, or late a night. Still have some small things to do, but for the most part it’s ready to go. As I flipped through my photos I realized I don’t have the most recent work that has been done.

Made a platform bed for my son. Torched with clear coat. I sized for a queen mattress but shimmed it down to fit the current full size in the room. Once we get the Queen I will remove the shim boards.

Nothing from testing. I think I was one of the guys Rev was speaking of about the Exotics fwy metals. I’ve been using them for about 8 years, I’ve replace a broken XCG5 3 wood (my fault), with an XCG6 3 wood, I have a 5 wood that I use occasionally, a 22 hybrid and 19 hybrid, that I use as well. Although the 2 hybrid amp cell Orange that I use fills the gap better. I also have Exotics backups in the garage when needed. My current XCG6 3 wood is old and I fear it may break soon, I’ve been usin it for about 5 years and have not found anything that even comes close to beating it. Other than the Exotics which we've talked about here several times, I don’t really have any clubs based solely on MGS testing.

What grips are you trying to put on? It doesn’t hurt to use a little bit of solvent or mineral spirits to help the grip slide and not stick. It doesn’t take a lot, I use my pinky finger and dip it into the solvent and lightly rub it on the tape and just around the tip of the grip to help it slide sometimes.

My daughter did art through high school. Not sure what her plans are for college, I hope they include some type of art or design. It’s a gift she has. She won 2nd place for this one at the art show. I forget what the process is called for this. Basically you take a thick rubber pc and cut out the shapes that you want, then roll the paint out on it and place that on the paper. It is very difficult from what I understand. Especially the curvy lines and loops that she did. The judges were really impressed that she did this since it is so difficult to get it correct.
Edit: I looked it up and I think it’s called relief.

This is tough. The guy made an agreement and was paid according to that agreement.
should Kuchar have given him a bigger pay day, absolutely he should have, but that’s up to him, no one else. Kuchar paid the agreed price plus extra, and another offer on top of that. I don’t know how that makes him a bad person. Just because I think he should have paid more, doesn’t mean he’s a bad guy for not doing it. If it were me, I would have. I don’t hold it against Matt for doing what he said he was going to do.

Working on some 3-2-1 ribs on the charcoal smoking right now. They look  like they are going to be so good. I used some Apple, and Pecan wood for smoke. They have a coating of some sweet baby rays. I will add some more in about 15 minutes then let them finish in about 45 min to and hour. It smells so good.

Plastidip doesn't work very well, I tried that.

The shrink tubing does work, make sure you have a heat gun to do it though. I've only put it on a putter, and have no plans to use it on a wedge or any other club
