  1. Stage 3 I really liked the feel, control, and looks of the Forward Putter Grip. It fit my hands perfectly. I used it for a while and found that since my putter shaft is 37 inches long it was too short of a grip for my system. I took it off recently as I really need another 2 to 3 inches more in my grip.. My hopes are that they will mfg a grip a little longer as then I will change out my grips on my two Edel putters and use their grip exclusively.. I suggest all to try this grip as it is ergonomically pleasant to use.
  2. Stage 2 Looks of the putter grip: very clean lines and aesthetically pleasing The grip is what I would say "ergonomically" well fitted to my hands as it has slight contours in the exact areas I need them. The color..............black (hopefully in a later date they will offer colors). The logo is well done and very sharp. The length is about two inches short for what I am using presently. I do hope in the future they will offer a two inch longer grip. The grip is firm yet has a fine degree of supple feeling to it. The squared off front offers me a better form of "direction" and allows me to strike the ball a little straighter. The roundness on the backside offers comfort to my fingers. The grip has a enlarged curvature on the top of the backside which helps me control my putting. There is a small herring bone design around it which allows me a better grip while not being to rough. A very nice grip to say the least. Using this grip helps me keep the "flippy" out of my wrists. I am able to putt from right to left without turning my wrist and I think this is due to the front being squared.. I highly recommend this grip to anyone as it has quieted my wrist action down a lot. I still hope they will come out with a 2 inch longer version as I have a tendency to grip way down on my putter since my shaft is 37 inches long.. (like the extra length so I don't bend over so much) Try this!
  3. Stage 1 I was really happy to be chosen to test this putter grip. A little about myself: Handicap is 10.2 as I usually play in the low 80s to mid 80s Strengths are in putting/iron play/wedges. Weakness is definitely found in my woods and hybrids as I seem to want to kill them when striking? My typical misses with putting would be to the left (I am a right handed golfer) I typically golf 120 to 140 games per year. I started golfing at the age of 60 after a few seasons of racing and I am now 68 yrs old.. Very grateful that God has allowed me to play this game as it is extremely satisfying (I say that with clenched teeth depending upon the last round). I am not a "joiner" so I play from 24 to 34 different courses throughout the year. I live in Indianapolis, IN and I do play through the winter..... my rules are above 26 F with no rain/snow/high winds. I am a tinkerer so you will find wt tape added to my irons. I play with Edel irons, wedges, putter, and Great Big Bertha Driver and Cobra Hybrids & Woods. My putter is 37" long with a lot of wt on it (fitted by the Edel System) It most likely will be the last putter I own .......unless??? I have been using the Flatso 2.0 XL grip which I really like. The Forward Grip looks, feels excellent and look forward to talking about this in the next stage.
  4. I received my two drivers in on Friday and they are really good looking clubs...NICE! I took them out Sat and passed up the range... played a game with them and switched between the Tour Lite Firm and the Tour Reg clubs... very accurate as to hitting the fairways.. Actually more accurate percentage wise than my previous Taylormade Rocketballz Tour driver... Now I need to work on some distance as the ground was wet and there was no roll and temps are still around 55F... Thanks to all the people at Krank as they have answered all my calls/complaints in a very professional way in the past 1.5 months.. I look forward to working with them in the future.. My complaint was handled and I am totally satisfied... Thank you Krank folks... Kerry
  5. Again, since I am the original poster to this I wanted to reiterate that Krank has stepped forward and sent me my two drivers with Aldila shafts and assured me if these do not work out they will make it right with the Fujikura shafts when they come in..... I was taken care of by Krank and after a few emails they have communicated with me... I will at this time just trust them on the shaft issue.. unfortunately we have had terrible weather since I have recieved the drivers... hopefully today or tomorrow I can get them out & golf with them..
  6. Since I am the one that started this rag, I wanted to personally thank the people of Krank for their recent communication with me. I ordered two different shaft 9 head drivers with the substituted Aldila shafts. I tried them out at a driving range yesterday and they seemed to work out fine .... the only problem is that we got 6" of snow on Tuesday and I couldn't see were the balls landed since there was so much snow on the ground. The drivers felt good fyi..but more importantly I feel confident that if these shafts don't work out Krank will help me on this.. I feel that when the Fujikura debacle is over that there should be no problems with these drivers.. even my wife said they "look real nice" and all she cares about in golf is clothing??? I look forward to dealing with Krank in the future in all aspects..
  7. They were 9 degree drivers..... the hold up might be due to the lack of response from Fuji shafts not being delivered on correct dates... so I told them to send the drivers with aldila... they were reg tour and firm tour aldila in lieu of fuji
  8. I wanted to thank the people at Krank for getting me my two drivers that I ordered.. I understand the problems that they encountered via the lack of delivery with the shafts.. I asked them to send my the drivers with Aldila shafts and they did ................. they look great.... and now we are getting a ice/snow storm in so I can't try them out until this weekend ----- I hope.. They did communicate with me and their delivery was as they stated on the second go around.. Nice looking drivers.. thanks,
  9. I had heard that the shafts might be in on Wed or Thurs this week??
  10. I hate to make my first post a negative post but nonetheless here goes... On 12/24/12 I ordered two new Krank Element Drivers. I was told that (after paying in advance) that my delivery would be 4 to 6 weeks. I called the first of January to make sure this was still the case on delivery and was assured that this was true. I called the last week of January and was told the between the first and second week of Feb. I would see my new drivers. I decided I would sell my perfectly good Rocketballz Tour Drivers on Ebay and they went fast. I called the first week of Feb and they said that they should be in as forecast in second week. I called the beginning of last week and was told they had a problem with the Chinese 15 day holiday which was causing a delay but they would send them out last Friday and that they would email me a tracking number when shipped on Friday. I called Krank up today and they said that they were out of the shafts that were to go on my two drivers and they thought they would be in this Thursday??????? I said that I sold my drivers two weeks ago and was golfing without a driver??? I asked them again "how realistic is it that they would ship me my driver this week?" And they suggested I might see them towards the end of next week.. This more than put me in a bad mood. I must say that the thing that upsets me most of all this is that Krank has been less than forthright and honest in their communication to me on this whole matter.. One thing I expect is a straightforward and honest answer to my delivery and or projection of delivery on these drivers.. I wonder if anyone else has had this problem?
