  1. I use Lost Golf Balls for my purchases. I never buy 'refurb' or repainted balls. I only buy the mint balls.... as they are. I have noticed no difference between them a brand new ball. YMMV. I never worried much about a logo or marck or two. After you hit them a time or two, they are marked anyway.
  2. I'm a huge SAHB fan. These kids killed it.
  3. I jumped on the EVNroll train the first year they came out (2016?). I have used the ER2 ever since. I doubt it will ever leave the bag, but I've learned to never say never.
  4. The anchoring thing is ridiculous. Just my .02.
  5. Looking for bands from back in the day, I found this. I forgot about her. Your welcome Lynyrd Skynyrd...lol.
  6. The best golf I ever played was in my late 40's - early 50's. I could shoot in the high 70's most of the time. I practiced a lot. I played 4 times a week. I took a few lessons from the local pro. He didn't change my swing... he worked with what I had. He changed my grip from interlock to Vardon. I told him how I had no confidence in wedges, other than right around the green. He showed me how to use my 9 iron from 80 yards and closer and be successful with it. It is the single most importent change I made... I no longer freak at the though of skulling a wedge from 50 yards...lol. I suppose if you want to be as good as you can possibly be, you need to commit to a lengthy time of practice and patience. I have no desire at this point to devote the time it takes. I enjoy playing golf just as much as I did when I was a better player. My scores are low - mid 80's with the occasional high 70's thrown in. I'm fine with it.
  7. I use balls until I lose them or there is noticeable damage. I wear gloves the whole season... and then some. I will throw goves away that were used in the rain because when I take them off the fingers are stretched out and won't shrink back...lol.
  8. I understand and I agree, but I also think there needs to be some common sense applied. When OTC cold medications are considered 'performance enhancing' something is wrong.
  9. The only shot I can do on demand is a fade. A draw usually ends up a big hook, so I have given up on it...lol. Unfortunately, hitting it straight is the hardest shot for me.
  10. My end of year league outting was played in a sleet storm a few years back. It sucked, but it ended up being fun...lol. The greens became ice rinks. I think the best score was for any team was like +11 or so.
  11. Wow. How about this whole thread/topic should just be locked before it gets out of hand? How did you manage before the loan forgiveness program?
  12. Rather than start a new thread: I currently play Mizuno MP 64's. I bought them new when they came out in 2012. I was "semi fit" for them... a combination of the store "pro" and myself. I have loved every minute of owning/playing them... still do. I am now 64 years old. I have lost a noticeable amount of distance with my irons. I used to hit the 7 iron 155/60. I now hit it 140/5. this is through all of the irons. I have been looking at/wanting the Pro 223's. I have hit them a couple of times off a mat at the store. I like the way they feel. The question I have.... will I get some distance back with them, or should I look at something else? I have to come clean... I am a total Mizuno fan boy. I can't see myself playing another iron. I also can't see myself playing hollow irons. Am I just screwed at this age?
  13. Thank you. It's my 25th year turning 39.
  14. Been a while since I clicked these guys up. chisag will approve.
  15. As a teen growing up in the 70's, I was a hard rock/metal head... I still am...lol. My tastes have changed with age. I'm a huge fan of Blues music/Blues Rock. I delve into some country (none of the popular radio crap), Prog, Roots/Americana music and genres that I can't put a name to. I'm just a music fan. If it's good, I'll give it a listen.
