  1. It really doesn't matter what any of us think. Goodell will make sure his little darling Patr*ots will be there. I love the NFL. I've been a die hard Raiders fan for 46 years. Goodell is making it unwatchable. He is the worst commissioner the NFL has ever had. Sorry for the mini rant..... I just felt the need to vent.
  2. My team picks 5th. Probably will for the foreseeable future...lol. I'll go with a Seahawk / Bronco Superbowl. I'll take the Seahawks to win it.
  3. While on the topic of putter materials, what is the difference in feel from 303 stainless to carbon steel?
  4. Merry Christmas to you all. It's a different Christmas for me but, I'll be with family, so I'll get through it.
  5. I'm not sure I have anything I love but, I really like my MP-64's and my Titleist 913 D3 driver.
  6. Being as I started this thread, I should come clean. I am somewhat gifted as an athlete. I could play baseball, football, tennis, etc... When I took up golf I figured it couldn't possibly be that hard. LOL! Golf is the most challenging game/sport I have ever tried to be good at. I have been so mad at times I could spit nails over this game. I will tell you that I have never thrown or broken a club over it. I have cursed and hit the ground with a club or two...lol. I attribute my training in martial arts to maintaining a cool head on the golf course.... for the most part. I don't care s
  7. Slow play from a group that won't let you play through really pisses me off. I always get behind a group that obviously can't play. Said group invariably will be playing from the blue tees, even though it takes all of them three tries to get a drive off. If you say anything you get the usual response.... "we paid our money just like you did, we will play from whatever tees we want." Makes ya want to hit balls at em'.
  8. I'm curious as to how you handle your emotions on the golf course. I've always been of the opinion that if the game makes you so mad when you aren't playing like you think you should, you probably should find something else to occupy your time. After all.... the reason you're out there is to have fun and relax, right? As we all know, this game is very humbling and can let you know in a heart beat that you don't own it, and you will never master it. You can play extremely well for a period of time and then, all of a sudden, you have that round that comes from left field for no apparen
  9. If you make 10 in a row do you get a "booby prize"?
  10. I regret selling my Mizuno MX-25's to a buddy. He loves them but, I really wanted to keep them around...lol.
  11. Accomplishments - I got a hole in one on my 54th birthday and shot a personal best 75. Let downs - very inconsistent all year.
  12. I would take Zach's game. It's fun to hit the ball far but, it's hard to score from the woods. I'll take accuracy every time.
  13. Not sure I get all this forgiveness stuff. You either hit the ball or you don't? Yea, if you miss hit with the 64's you'll definitely know it but, if you miss hit with any club you know it........... don't you? I played CB's for years before going to the 64's. I honestly can't tell a world of difference from miss hits with the CB's from miss hits with the 64's. I think this "blades/muscle backs are hard to hit" thing is way overblown. Just my .02. I love the MP-64's. I demo'd the MP-59's and 64's before settling on the 64's. I'll be playing these for a long while.
  14. I play the 64's on KBS Tour Stiffs. I'm not a low single digit player but, I have no trouble hitting them. I love em' and will probably play them for quite some time.
  15. Yea, that looks quite daunting if you aren't a straight hitter...lol.
  16. This might be a dumb question but, is this driver only meant for Long Drive competition or is it perfectly at home on the golf course? Is it only for accomplished players or could the rest of us average players take advantage of it?
  17. Why can't I sign in on another computer? It always says my name or password is incorrect. It isn't.
  18. Not much to add to the rest of the comments but, it did direct me to balls that are a step down from tour balls. Most of them I have tried, and a few of them I used to game regularly. Nothing wrong with them but, I prefer to play a tour quality ball. They are simply (imo) superior around and on the greens.
  19. Those are just a winning lottery ticket away...lol. They ARE beautiful!
