  1. Ok- here is that vid about the shot replay feature from my Rapsodo MLM2 Pro- connected to free e6 Connect as the 3rd party simulator, shot in my garage sim- it’s a super easy iPad to an old Hitachi projector. I found the projector on Facebook marketplace for $60, and it’s a flamethrower with 3200 Lumens I think- this is with all doors open and very light, and you can still see clearly.
  2. Thanks Matt! apparently not a good system- I’ll go back to a YouTube link I guess…
  3. My putter was the star of the show today, making birdie putts on consecutive holes. First one about 60’ (lucky), and then next hole about 12’. Yum yum
  4. Hey guys, try this link for a quick vid of my home sim in my backyard garage, in full daylight and all doors open- I’ve got a 3200 lumen Hitachi projector showing my Rapsodo MLM2 Pro running into e6 Connect (3rd party sim) it’s a replay of a 6 iron, and then a stat sheet pops up, then I auto 2-putt it https://share.icloud.com/photos/01ffjIeeb917y1SCJRIovulbg lemme know if it works or not? thanks
  5. Here is a quick video on the replay function using the free E6 connect with my Rapsodo MLM2 Pro. Such an awesome toy. It gets insane comparisons to the track man and gQuads etc…
  6. Yes, however you don’t get spin or spin axis without the dotted balls. I think my PRGR would get nearly the same … it’s a pretty good little unit, but very basic compared the the MLM2,especially when attached to a 3rd party sim… yum yum ill post a quick vid in a few to show a replay of a shot from today
  7. In a fitting way to end the week of ups and downs, I fired a +1 - 72 this morning to beat my daily nemesis by two. And the sad part is taking a dang double on 17, thereby killing my sub-par round. we both poured a birdie on top of the other on consecutive holes, which was cool. this week went something like 73/82/71/79/72, and the interesting part is that the high scores each followed the day after swing speed training. But then the following day was low… so, there’s a moral to that story, but I don’t know what it is. after this mornings round I did my swing speed training, and then fired up the new Rapsodo MLM2PRO, and then went to the 3rd party simulation from e6 Connect. Talk about an awesome simulator… it’s everything Optishot isn’t…
  8. Ya know, it’s hard to say really. I don’t hit every ball exactly the same, so the numbers are always different- but I do know that there are some generalizations that are similar to we’ll hit balls, and I honestly can’t say there is any problem with dots that might be slightly off.
  9. A spooky morning at the track… uhhhh….
  10. Hmmm, it seems like for this week, the days following speed stick training, I’m around 80, and rounds on the morning before speed stick training, I’m low 70s… 79 today, with a few blowup holes… gahhhh apparantly, I haven’t “found it”…
  11. Third shot after 2 poor shots, . 102 yards, in dirt, behind trees, with one small opening requiring a 30 yard cut. Punched a PW, way back in stance, with a slightly open face. Landed left of green, but took a seriously favorable bounce, and rolled up to 3' for the "par save of the week"
  12. Well, Ive completed week 4 of level 2, and I sure seem stuck. I just can't seem to pick up anything extra, which is starting to make me feel as though I've maxed out my potential. I begin to hurt my neck by swinging harder, so I might be an example of hitting the wall due to age and physical limitations. Im kind of frustrated as Ive always been able to exceed most physical expectations with hard work, but Ive never been limited by a failing body before. Degenerative Disc Disease is winning this battle to a degree, however, not before I DID make some pretty significant gains. At this point, I have gained at least 6 mph, and at the very least, 10-20 yards with the driver, and dare I say, very similar gains with irons. Obviously more with the longer ones, and an easy 10 with the shorter ones. For example the A wedge used to be my 100 yard club, whereas now, its my 110-112 club. The 6 iron used to be my 160, and now its reaching 180+ here and there. If you think about it, people spend thousands on new clubs to get gains like this, and they get new clubs with jacked up lofts, billion dollar drivers and fairway woods etc... Im hitting old school lofts (ie 34* 7-iron), and getting unbelievable height and descent angles, along with great spin, resulting in shots that stay where they land on the green. One more week at level two, then who knows what level 3 will bring... Maybe there will be a new exercise that stimulates something new, and creates more pain free speed...
  13. Crazy week so far. 73, then a 82, and todays very solid 71. Missed numerous birdie putts by just a hair. i remember when I started bowling 30 years ago, and then one day “I found it”. How to roll the ball with the nasty little snap that created strike after strike. Suddenly my average was 206, and I flirted with numerous 300’s. that’s how my golf felt today, with that moment of thinking, “I found it”! the exact “move” if you will, is merely having the left arm go straight back, as opposed to wrapping behind my back and getting “stuck”. Then, a strong hip turn to drag the swing thru. It was then like throwing darts all day, and with strong distance too. It could have been an even better day if some of those putts had fallen. as usual, can’t wait for tomorrow…
  14. So as good as yesterdays 73 was, today was an 82, that could have been worse, but I finished one under thru the last 5 holes. But man it was ugly before that! I think it was an over zealous speed stick session yesterday in the heat. It must have warped my brain a bit I guess
  15. say, I just noticed I finally got over 10,000 likes. I like that...
  16. This heat bubble we're in really makes it tuff to get much going. Pretty average numbers todAY. However, I still think Im improving even if the numbers dont support it
  17. +4 on front, and -2 0n back, to tie the days leader. No doubles today! I hope all my chipping practice helped there with that...
  18. Fell victim to the 80 today, gah
  19. Here is a great example of how NOT to finish a round… even thru 16, great drive on 17. Approach shot hits something a shoots a hard right, one foot into the jungle. Hack hack hack miss the putt… double… CRAP! Well it’s a par 5 for 18, so I absolutely crush a drive, and thinking I need an eagle to resolve the double, top it, then Klank one into the sand… another double…. went from an even par 71, to a +4 75… gahhh what a waste of 5 birdies
  20. Oh, a quick side note I forgot to add, as I was driving out of the parking lot today, I saw a fellah headed to the range in his cart, and I saw the "Swing Speed Golf" box in his cart. Not sure what he was going to do. But he was gunna do something with them. I felt like a proud papa for some reason haha...
  21. Ok, Just wrapped up week 3 in level 2. Unfortunately not a remarkable difference on paper, but that doesn't really tell the tale. Being an old fart at 67, whose body is breaking down after a lifetime of abuse, some problems were bound to pop up by going all out on this test. to make the story short, my neck didn't like the all out swing, so I have been altering a bit, but still executing a full swing. Just not as violent as I was doing when we began this e exercise. But the good news is that Im not losing any of the gains I've made, and so holding steady numbers with a less crazy swing is in my mind, a major gain. I suppose the best news is that my pre-session swing is now a sparkling 102 MPH, compared to the 94 MPH when we began, and post session speed is 106. Now I dont know where you and your buddies sit, but in my circle of friends, I am easily the long bomber of the bunch. Not the best player, but in the mix everyday. And having long drives most of the time makes the approach shots easier. If only I was a little more well rounded of a player... My up and down game needs the most work, and thats next on my to-do list ...
  22. Seem to be stuck again in this 77-78 zone for a while now- best part is that I’ve figure out where my swing gets stuck sometimes, caused by a flat backswing. When I can keep that more up, I’m hitting a pretty decent ball. it’s funny how just a few short putts, or a slightly missed chip can swing the score so far away from a good round- its aggravating to start with 2 pars, and then get an unlucky bounce that turns into a bogie, then follow that up with 2 more.. but then you get a birdie, and it’s “yea baby”!, but then you have a PBFU (post birdie fudge up)… then you go 2 over on the whole back, and here you are once again… same as it was yesterday… you just can’t make silly stupid mistakes and expect to shoot well…
